the lines are for the side courts. you can tell at 2:53 the ref would've blown the ball dead because he stepped out of bounds. most courts have these. you can clearly see the courts in the backround
That's not an out-of-bounds line. The line is much further beyond that. Look at the arc of the 3-point line. The ref is standing on the out-of-bounds line the whole time.
5 second violation only occurs if you have the ball and someon on d is like i think 5 or six feet away from you, without you dribbliing or making any moves, so without a shotclock it was perfectly legal for him to stand there at the corner so long, but the other coach should have double teamed him or just put a man on him and get out of that zone mess
First of all a 5 second violation is only if there is someone playing defence on the person with the ball; thus there is no rules breaking.
Second shot clock is not required in many states for highschool basketball.
Third this video is boring but this was a very smart play by the coach because they won the game. there was no reason not to do this they were tied and if they didnt score they would just go into overtime
