How many people here know this great film (mostly great due to Leonardo DiCaprio lol) is a remake? That's right this was not the idea of anyone involved with this movies. This is an American version of a 2002 film called 'Infernal Affairs '. 'The Departed' is basically the exact same thing but in Boston instead of Hong Kong. A great GREAT film this. Bit in my opinion, not necessary.
