How Do You Keep The Faith?

<3 out of the mouths of babes...what you said is truly real. I stopped for a long time and would write down things that were troubling me and would put them in my bible. but since i have been on my journey at 33 1/2, I have truly seen how God can work if I and specific, and ask it in HIS name and do it all unto HIS glory. My faith was shaken many times, but I have learned to write it down also, even when troubles come, and just watch God work. Stay Righteous Sis. <3

You have no idea what this video meant to me. A pastor's wife came to me at church and told me that God saw me struggling with financial aid for school. She told me it was going to be approved and I had to fret no longer. NO ONE in that church knew what I was going through and it was her first time EVER speaking to me. She told me to write down what I wanted so that I could have a record. I didn't do it, but I did have faith that God would deliver me. This was my reminder. THANK YOU FOR SHARING!

For the people who are struggling in their faith, dont be discouraged if you find yourself asking God to answer a prayer and you dont get an answer right away, or get an answer and it's not the one you wanted. For it is in Gods timing and IF (like she said) it is in his Will that it shall come to pass. What you ask for may not be in his Will. So when you pray, ask for peace of mind and understanding. Wow, this is so encouraging. It is so biblical to write down the vision, and make it plain. I have definitely seen the Lord work in this manner. Honey, this has definately helped me.I'm a creative and havent been doing anything creative this whole year becoz of sme minor circumstances and tht has bn heavy on my soul.Last week Monday God put an idea/business opportunity in my heart and it hasnt left me since then. Thank you. I am relate to the person who had wrote you. My story is I just graduate, passed two of my board exams and still can't find a job.

I will be honest i am starting to question god, with the: "why, when, and how's."

Truth be told when I was studying for my exams, I had wrote down a pray asking god for me to pass my registry and it did work.

Patience and Faith are two things that I am lacking.

@CurlyTrini87 I can relate. I remember I questioned God about my Nursing entrance test. I prayed. I tried about three times to Pass. I didn't. I really wasn't at peace with my decision on becoming a nurse, either. Now, God is showing me that he has something GREATER in store for me. And, I'm at SO much peace. At times, we just have to TRUST Him, when things don't go as we think they should. He ALWAYS has what's BEST in store, for us. May God continue to bless you in ALL your future endeavors.

My faith has been tested so often recently and I have a friend that has been helping me w/ my walk to find my destiny in Christ and she told me to do the same thing. I have been writing in my journal and I can testify that it has helped me w/ so much. I have had so many issues from my past that I was never planning on dealing w/ and writing to God has allowed me to reconnect w/ Him, fall in love w/ Him and myself. I know that it works. I love love love this video....I do the exact same thing (writing down my prayers), not because I want to "see" what God does or anything, but moreso I confuse myself alot (sounds dumb right?)and I can express myself more clearly (even to God) when I write. It's such a calming thing to do, and I just have a plain notebook for it, where I used to write poetry. Now I just write my prayers. When they do or do not come to pass, I always see why later on, and go back to read my prayers & thank God!
