You don't really need an edge in music - you just have to be you. And the confidence to be you. Just look at Taylor Swift. Well, if you know your songs are unique and have an audience, then, build on that. Don't let people tell you otherwise. Else you become another packaged pop star. But really, improve on the singing. Even Rod Stewart with his smokey voice sings clear, and sexy.
Late as it is when i stepped upon your creation. Bravo. Nice smokey voice. But then...seriously if you really want success, you need to have the "edge". What is the edge you need to find out yourself. If you were to ask me i will wanna perceive it as something different and entertaining. Cos thats whats the mop wants. Peace. Take care and godspeed
