And they coulda made shang tsung more badass and they shoulda got an actual asian chick to play mileena and kitana lol! And what's up with showing smoke for like 2 seconds then never mentioning him again. They do it all suspenseful like and shit! hahaha! Watching the beginning little part recapping the last few episodes to make it suspenseful is really cool. It makes you wonder what will happen next yet it makes you sad knowing they stopped the series.

I think the show was awesome, the whole low budget repetitive fight scenes stick to you after a while. Also it's not really an actual part of MK because of all the story twists, so if you just see it as a 'fun story' to mk it's not that bad. I mean I liked seeing Characters from MK here, even if they did look and act different, it was still nice. It's no where near perfect, but I don't think it's bad at all. I plan on watching it again from beginning to end, just my opinion tho

The "problem" is that this series was based on the 1st movie, not the video game. therefore, kung lao is ancestor of liu, whereas in the game they both are monks at same time. also, how kung can be ancestor of liu, if he dies without any kids? then shang and kitana's death is unlikely, as they both keeps central roles in both games and movies. btw, the mk is every generation, so 10 mk is about 500 years. kitana is 10.000 as from edenia, a place where time might run differently than earth

This is based on the original Kung Lao, not the Kung Lao who co-exists with Liu Kang. This Kung Lao is their ancestor.

Obviously, the series isn't canon, and so Kung Lao can die in it, but this is more likely due to the fact that they had to cancel the show and everybody dying was a compelling way to end it.

No offense, but you do know that this is a whole other timeline then when Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, Jonny Cage, Jax, and the other earth warriors appear, right? This is atleast 500 years ago before they even were born. Of course, Kitana appears, but that's because she's like stated over 10.000 year old.
