  • What shortline is this?

  • love the gp30!

  • I could listen to that all day. I'm not sure which engine has a louder turbo whistle. I listened to a GP35 and a SD45 idle together once and really couldn't tell, but the 567 and 645 do sound slightly different.

  • i love the sounds of a 567 and 645

    engine

  • Great video! Anyone know of any good sites or books that explain the differences of all the trains? I'd like to start railfanning.

  • i depends on what state you live in and i'll give you places to go!!!!!!!

  • ooooooo that sounds excellenttt!!!!

  • Excellent. I've had cabrides in matched GP30s in helper service, as well as regular head-end power, and also riding down the mountain in dynamic mode. The sound was phenominal..always thought the turbo whistle was more prominent in 567s than 645s. Yup, just sat back, enjoyed the gentle sway of the power, and sounds.-Jeffrey

  • nise. love the sound of a turboed 567. I had a couple trips in GP35s when I was still working for Conrail. They were awesome performers on Coal drags.

  • at the last second of video you can see the guy entering the back of the f9B

  • Yup, lashup was exSR GP30, exCN F9B,ns a GP18

  • Sounds just like our class 071s in Ireland.

  • Excellent sound! Wish it was longer, but still great though!

  • great sound!
