The U.S. is my favorite faction in ETW. Not just because I am from the US, but because I like their unit setup. The Minutemen can hold their own against most line, something other militia can't, and are easy to mass.

Thats a generlazation on your part redcoat, in the first part of the American Rev. there was open feild combat that was widespread. Since it became dismal to fight they fought in small skirmish with the british constantly with milita that weren't even part of the Contential Army which did fight the British at Sartoga in open feild and beat the British at Yorktown as well. The French were a Super Power of the time and they are still to this day. You just seem to be mad that the British lost.
