I don't know if you have seen my video of me painting my wall before... but I have green walls in my room. Sooo I decided to try it for a green screen. It actually worked quite well. For my first time ever doing a green screen I think it turned out pretty well. =) The background is just an image that I whipped up in Photoshop.
i read ender's game and ender in exile and really enjoyed them. i don't know what to read next. the rest of the ender series or the shadow series. I'm a little disappointed to hear that the book is dummied down. I love the spiritual views inside the books i read. the keep you thinking and might even change the way you think bout stuff
It's been a few years since I read that book, but I don't seem to recall thinking it was dumbed down. Individual preceptions, I guess. I know I've read some of Card's criticism of books and movies, and wondered if he'd read or seen the same thing I had.
As for the review, at this point it does not sound as if it's something I would read. I'm wondering what it entails that makes it worthwhile for an adult to be interested. I hope you'll elaborate in your next video.
will do! thanks for the imput. It's a book that I want people to read, I should probably play it up a little more =P. I tend to go against the grain in critiques and most people love this book so I wanted to point out some flaws I found. Also... Thanks for noticing my background =) -tony
Ive always been reccomended these books by friends but never got round to them. Once i finish chuck palahniuk's back catalogue , i might give these a go.
Who is the narrator in the book? I don't remember being misled when I read this book. The book I'm reading right now by Card called Heartfire has the narrator switching between characters pov so there is a subjectivity there but usually its just speculation. And I'm not sure I am making any sense.
I agree with you to a point on the dumbing down of the books. I liked the Enders Saga more than I did Beans Saga.
although i agree that it might be annoying for the narrator to lie like that, i think it shows us something really important about the narrator's character! he has flaws, too.
just started this book... seems ok so far. i hope it isn't as preachy as the last 3 books in the ender quartet.

Agreed, this is really dumbed down book. I'm currently in middle school, and I've read the whole series and found this book very easy.

Love the book, this is a really good video. I just did one myself, but not as nice as yours. keep up the good job.

I'm almost done with this book. I actually am reading before reading enders game.

I personally think that's a poor idea. Ender's Story has less impact when you read Bean's first.

Nice green screen work! It was nice that you ended it with a quote and just left it at that.

thanks a bunch! I'm glad it worked out =P

hit help and type green screen or chroma key and see if anything comes up.

Looking forward to part 2!

I'd say start with Ender's Game. If you like that, keep going.

The narrator is card I guess... I'll try to pick out a specific point where he's contradictory and say it in my final review for this book (part 2)

=] nice review! sounds good so far
kinda weird the narrator lies though, I think that could get to me aswell!?

yeah, it seemed to happen at the end of the book though, I haven't discovered a lie since.

that's an interesting (although I'm not entirely convinced) way to think about it.

haha, leave it to me, but i think it's good character development!
