Listen up noobs. Jetski's arnt standups, their a brand name of Kawisucky. You call a Yamaha SuperJet a Jetski and your a noob.

A Jetski is not a standup.

A Waverunner isnt a sitdown, its a Yamaha.

LOL good summary, but i will have to disagree with u somewhat on the sea-doo's. The Sea-doo XP 1996 was probly the best sit down made ( with the exception of the small sitdowns such as the x-2, waveblaster and seadoo hx)it was fast and light and small for a sitdown, and currently sea-doo has those supercharged seadoos that go 80mph on water. thats hella fast. I am not a sea-doo fanboy, i own a yamaha waveblaster, but i used to have a seadoo and i never had a problem

I would love to see one of those stock pieces of crap sea-doo's go 80 on the water... do you know how far off that is from the actual speed they go?

And anyways, who cares if it does do 80 or whatever crazy speeds that bombardier makes if they won't go more than 20 hours without blowing an engine or jacking something else up... I rarely see a yammy or kawi getting towed in but almost daily I see some nice new sea-doo getting towed in...

I brought a gps out on my friends rxp and we got 75 mph. He has had it for a year now and no problems. I agree standup are the way to go. I have a fx1 (best standup made ever) and a waveblaster but its a little harsh to say all sitdowns are couches

agreed stand ups are fun.. but i have a awesome sit down.. its an artic cat tigershark 1000 le.. it handels like a porsche and jumps like a dirtbike and has loads of power... just iv blown the enigne three times in it :(.. but none the less its a blast to ride !!! i passed a ski boat that was going 80 :)

The reason a lot of people call them jet-ski's is kawi was the first(correct me if I am wrong) major PWC producer and were once all that was available.
