  • Hey guys, i wouldn't worry too much about this product. It seems cool and i've purchased 3 so far hoping they would be as good as what the movie shows but that's not the case. The shrimps have a very limited life spent and die within a few months. It is way too expensive to bother.

  • @deepseeblue Thanks for kicking my small business for no apparent reason than our product looks a bit like the US based Ecosphere product. Chalk and cheese! Different animals, different design. In fact you've never purchased our spheres so how would you know anything about it at all? One day you may annoy someone enough with your off the cuff statements that they hold you liable for damages and sue you. Think about that the next time you want to slag of a business using a false name.

  • how do they breathe

  • bomb!

  • You should put a link to your product page in the description, if you're intention is to sell these.

  • @ThereRLG2006 Hi I've fixed it now. Thanks for the suggestion. :D

  • Hi there, it looks amazing. I have already kept three of the ecospheres but your Aussie product looks even better. I am living in the UK. Do you under any circumstances ship overseas? I would really love one. Many thanks.

  • does the glass ball takes air from somewhere or is it completely sealed?

  • Hi

Our biospheres are completely sealed ecosystems, entirely different to "Ecosphere Associates" which contain Opae ula (Hawaiian red shrimp). If the Opae ula die then that's the end for that ecosystem unless you replace the contents. Our biospheres on the other hand contain an amazing little "Ostrocod" shrimp who are capable of producing "resting eggs". These remarkable"time capsule like eggs" can lie dormant in the sand for a very long time and hatch when ever the population drops to low.

  • @littleaussieproducts Do you export to the U.S.?

  • What is in there

  • Our biosphere is leading technology which contain amazing "Ostrocod" shrimp who are capable of producing "resting eggs". These fascinating "time capsules" lie dormant in the gravel and hatch later when ever the population needs a boost. What we've done is improve on the old "Ecosphere" design using different animals who are more suited to a closed ecosystem . If Opae ula (Hawaiian red shrimp) die inside an ecosphere then that's the end of it unless you replace the contents with new shrimp.

  • Just a quick curtsy message.

Over the last few weeks we've had a supply issue with one of the vital components of our biospheres which has held back a number of deliveries over the last few weeks so apologies go out to those waiting for the delay. As a "cottage industry" we are very grateful to those who are understanding when these glitches occur from time to time. Happily, the supply issue has been resolved and all outstanding orders can now be shipped. We thank you again for your patience.

  • @powerspliff, yes we do still sell these and yes the page is still up to date. If you look up little aussie products.com you will be able to purchase one online.

  • Are you still selling these?? Is the page still uptodate?

  • seamonkeys 2.0

  • What kind of animals live in it?

  • god help us all if one of these ever get broke open

  • How much are the biospheres?

  • :O I want one

  • why the fuck is Rebecca Black in the Suggestions?

  • ITS SO SNAZZYYYYY

  • how long do these things last?

an how long do the shrimp live? do they breed?

  • @B4IRUTUARU16 If cared for the sphere should last indefinitely. However each individual has a life span of several months. Seed shrimp breed so the population will perpetuate.Seed shrimp produce two kinds of eggs, some that hatch quickly and some that stay dormant in case there is a crash in the population. If a sphere has lost its population (seemingly expired), placing it in bright light often cause new hatchings who are ready to take advantage of the better conditions inside the sphere.

  • @B4IRUTUARU16 thats what i was wondering

  • @sk8teandjerk sup, i actually bought one for christmas :)

its pretty cool but i didnt read the specs on the actual size of the globe..

ended up opening it and making my own larger ecosphere for better and bigger shrimp populations

  • where do you get this ecosphere? It is not on the little aussie product website.

  • @babigyrl5

Hi, Look under Little Aussie BioSphere in the Little Aussie products online shop.

  • @babigyrl5 In our store there is a link on the left hand side that shows the categories. You have simply to select category (New Aussie BioSphere) and you will be directed to our BioSphere shop page.

  • Cool I want one
