Short WGS Reaper vs. Vintage Fane 12" Speaker comparison

Just ordered a Reaper for a small open back combo...can't wait to hook it up. In your other shootouts, Reaper wins. In this vid, with this particular amp, I prefer the clarity of the Fane. But many factors may come into play, including the amp, cabs, mics, mic placement, etc. I enjoy the comparison vids. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, I have to fast forward through some narration sometimes (not on this one though!), but you're sharing a wealth of info and tone, for free, so no complaints here!

You are using the same mic model on both cabs right? The combo looks miced a lot more off axis, the WGS cab looks like its more perpendicular and right on the grill cloth..just sayin'.

That Reaper does sound good. I've tried the WGS Green Beret, Vet30, Retro30, and ET-65. I've got a G12C but haven't loaded it yet. Looks like I'm gonna have to try that Reaper at some point and of course the BlackHawk 50. Didn't care for the ET65 when I had it.
