  • OMG!!! They got the two best Valjeans ever (Wilkinson and Owen Jones) to harmonize!!!

  • @costerluver you mean Wilkinson and Boe the two best ever ;) and Bowman is seriously overshadowed by the other 3

  • This was absolutely incredible!

Thank you Cameron Mackintosh for the tickets

  • Was it John Owen Jones singing us into the Key-Change?

  • @SebFarrall No, it was Alfie Boe who sang for the majority of the show :) xx

  • i love this more than life itself.

  • I watched this in the cinema....

I would've given just about everything I own to be stood where you were stood though! :D My GOD.... WHAT A VIEW! :O x

  • @05maccaj I know. My tickets were donated to my drama school. As a training actress, I was utterly blessed and completely thankful. I wouldn't have ever been able to be there otherwise! xo

  • dude, I've been watching this over and over again today. Love it - thanks so much for posting!

  • what a performance, Les Mis has got to have something, if the whole of the O2 gets to its feet after this.

  • Words cant descirbe how amazing this is! I watched in the cinema and everyone in the cinema was appluading and wooping and we werent even there!

  • EPIC!!! These 4 are the best valjean's in the world! Thumbs up if you agree!!! :)

  • @gags24601 absolutely agree; I was there for both performances, and it was just spectacular!!!

  • I'm crying again

  • amazing, amazing, amazing, thats all i can say, i was there will treasure the memory forever, john owen jones, and colm wilkinson are my fave val johns to see that was a dream come true

  • My tickets cost a fortune but the money will be long forgotten when the memory of the remarkable performance remains clear in my memory.

  • I was in it. it was amazing.x

  • This was sooo sooo sooo amazing!

    Words cannot describe it.

I was there. What Cameron macintosh said about it being once in a life time, its true. you surely cant get more amazing and emotional than this was. I was overwhelmed!

  • Yes! It was fantastic!

  • lucky you! I saw it from one of the cinemas

  • WOW! This is just an explosion of amazing... JOJ ftw!

  • Phenomenal evening - so glad I was there! Alfie Boe can sing anyone else off the stage. Amazing.

  • JOJ is the best!

  • Wonderful, oh how I wish I'd been there.

  • I don't like the clapping during Master Of The House either, but at least they didn't boo Javert as sometimes happens.

  • wow, saw this at the Matinee last night and it was incredible. They had some trouble with the harmonies in the earlier show tho, but here they are spot on. Either way, the 4 Valjeans were still spectacular! I also shot some videos - I shall try and post those today! Thank you so much for sharing!

  • I shared this night with my friend.Emotionally drained & uplifted by the end feel honoured to have seen it...thanx for postin it:)....x

  • Colm Wilkinson is sensational, one of the greatest singers of all time. He is Jean Valjean, no one compares! Although hearing Colm and John Owen Jones singing in harmony is pretty spectacular! Great post!

  • I'm sorry but "concert etiquette"? Really?Everyone in the entire arena were on their feet and clapping because that was a once in a life time performance of one of the greatest stage productions of all time. How can you possibly say it ruins the performance when the atmosphere was electric and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. The only thing that did spoil it for us was the noise of people getting a text message. No excuse for that!

  • FANTASTIC night, best ever show, everyone was fantastic - even the crowd !

  • This was just amazing - thanks so much for posting so quickly

  • Guys, I was right in the middle on front row. It was spectacular. And to reiterate, the cheering was after the show!!!!! When all 4 Jean Valjean's were on stage!!

I have never cried so much!! Absolutely beautiful.

And Cameron Mackintosh rightly said 'you will never see this, ever again.' xxx

  • @sarahlizzy308 never say never. You never know...fingers crossed!

  • @sarahlizzy308 I only got to see it at the cinema, but i was still close to tears! You weren't the girl with mascara down her face were you? :) :L xx

  • @mcrclaire I think every girl in the auditorium had mascara down her face!!! xxxxx

  • @sarahlizzy308 I know I did! Which was odd as I wasn't wearing mascara...

Really not keen on Simon. He's ok here but in other clips I've heard of him singing this or other songs he just dosen't impress me. I think I'm alone in that view.

John is amazing! I got to see him in the tour and wow (at that point the only Valjean I'd seen was Simon Shorten, the second understudy in London).

Colm is amazing (everyone knows that)

Would love to see Alfie do the show now (if the rumors are true...)

  • @sarahlizzy308 oh wow you are so lucky to have been there! i watched it at the cinema but i saw it in the queen's theatre. but to be there with them all... this reduced me to tears, both when alfie boe sang it and when they all did it together. it must have been phenomenal live - the cast was utterly brilliant! i would love to be in les mis one day... good luck with becoming an actress :)

  • priceless

  • I was there today, it was unbelievable although marius was a little weak. I can not wait for the DVD in november

  • Thank you so much for this.

  • the concert was amazing, such a spectacle and alfie boe, (valjean) was incredible. Such a shame it was ruined by a simply appalling performance from that jonas guy. He was awful, embarrassingly worse than the rest of the outstanding cast.

  • Think I saw you clapping in the cinema just watched the live broadcast was awesome

  • This would be such a great performance if the audience didn't ruin everything it by clapping in the middle of the piece. Don't they have any musical sensitivity? 'Bring him home' is supposed to be a silent prayer that slowly builds up to a climax. Any loud interruptions completely destroy this piece. I suppose these people would also start clapping and screaming in the middle of a soliloquy as soon as Hamlet says 'To be or not to be'...

  • @frclough This was after the show had finished and all the UK Vailjeans joined the cast on stage before cam mackintosh gave a speech, the applause felt right for the moment and the whole arena joined in. So please don't assume people are ruining the show, If it bothers you that much please go along to the next anniversary and tell everyone to be quiet...

  • @pazza6047 Ever since the 19th century encores have been a fully integrated part of concerts demanding the same concentration from audience and musicians as the rest of the performance. Today people even applauded during the overture and right in the middle of important orchestral interludes. I don't see the point: When you're clapping, you can't actually hear the performance you're applauding! Why not show your appreciation AFTER the final bar of music? This is basic concert etiquette.

  • Can I just make this very sophisticated comment?

OMFG, SPAZ!! Colm and JOJ!!! Singing Bring Him Home together. I do believe I have died and gone to best Valjean heaven. Somebody, please. Revive me. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY LES MIS! May there forever be One Day More!

I am so upset I couldn't be here for this. *turns off flailing fangirl mode*

  • I love you so much, really.

  • I love you for uploading this .... Thanks !!!!
