Got an internet connection in 2004 (poor family) and started discovering all these great bands, through related Ramones videos. Thank you Punk, you made my life!

If this video doesn't impress some people that is fine and dandy. I do know that at the time the video was recorded, the band was a small phenomenon. This was a band and a show for people who really wanted it and sought it out. You can tell by the audience reaction. I remember being totally overwhelmed by the music. That is the beauty of this video. It captures all of that for me. Simple. I am glad this moment was properly documented even if it is a bit low-fi.

@penquinftw I think your points are off the mark. Fugazi was not/is not part of the "straight edge movement." Straight edge is traced back to Ian's former band Minor Threat. Get it straight(ha!). Furthermore, no one said Fugazi was one of the original creators of the punk sound. That goes back to the Stooges, The Dolls, The Ramones, , etc. They are part of the continuum though and a very important link in the chain. What is up with calling them "Fagazi" anyway? Not smart or cool. Just ignorant.
