Tryin to decide between the 2013 Genesis 2.0T and 2012 Mustang 3.7...I know the Mustang's faster, but I like the "Infinityness" of the Hyundai's interior...the nice design, the Mustang's so boring inside, the center console is enormous and just seems like it was designed for a truck. But then the Mustang has insane acceleration for a base model...and....it has MyColor...and lighted doorsills...aghhhh! Decisions!
@yellowmusicfreak I'd recommend the Hyundai. Sure, the Mustang is faster in a straight line, but that's about all it can do. The Hyundai, on the other hand, can handle better, and feels like you're getting more for your money. Plus, you get the best warranty in USA with the Hyundai.
@yellowmusicfreak The 3.7 mustang does around a 13.7 in the 1/4 mile. Best bang for the buck available. With MyColor you can change the color combos of the guages to tons of different ones. It also has ambient lighting, and like you said the lighted doorsills. Not to mention the sync system, is awesome! Premium also has leather seats. I am looking into both of these cars, but to me performance is number one! I would probably kick myself for not getting the mustang =)

@nivek7631 the two are great... but see.. the impreza already comes turbocharged.. and its great.. imagine if u put an aftermarket turbo or a supercharger to the V6 genesis? that'll be awesone :D

Hey man awesome video. I was just wondering whether the HID's were factory installled. It appears that the Grand Touring doesn't offer factory installed HID's; you can only get them from the Track version.
@carreraenzo90 2010 Genesis Coupe Grand Touring comes with HID standard, but the 2011's don't..(bummer) only on the 2011 3.8 Track has the HID standard now.
I have done some research, and found out floating around some shops are some LCD clusters for the HGC when they become a lil more common id like to buy one its gonna be sweet
I looked at one of these for a long time, but it didn't come out in Australia, so I thought well screw Hyundai for making it RHD exclusive and bought a Falcon XR6T. I don't regret it one bit!
does the genesis come with a option that you can start the car with the remeote controle or turn on n off the lights from outside and put the windows up and down? its pretty sick car for its price compare to all the other cars
kmart, if that's your concern, 80% of the Hyundais sold in the US now are manufactured in the US. I haven't worked on a Hyundai, but they shouldn't be more difficult to work on than a Honda, which are pretty easy to work on. Well, at least my car is anyway.

I considered this as there was a 4k price drop at the time I was looking, I ended up picking up a 2007 328i instead. Everything felt flimsy including the sunroof. I suppose its a nice ride for those high school kids looking for their new sunfire

Yea Im older and nerdier I guess Im considering the 2011 Sonata. However 4 a 4 dr family car it sure looks sexy as hell! The EPA classifies it as a full size. Gotta say I like the new wave in the full size sedan! Wouldnt say theyre 4 old kodgers anymore!
The only thing I miss and I really would want on that car would be a homecoming/leaving function (lights turning on when its dark and car is unlocked/locked) - isn't that integrated or do you need to activate that in the options? Our BMW does have it, the Merc as well - I'd like to see that on the Genesis Coup as well ... sure would be awesome style!

@madeinsony84 no, because i want to support our country as much as possible, if u want to send money to japan, china, korea, or germany, thats ur choice, its my preference, im a mechanic, domestics are much easier to work on and they break down a lot less, so go ahead and drive an import, just means more mustangs, camaros, and trucks for people that appreciate them
@PantstofryPWNZ a source? my whole life working on cars and my college of UTI,imports break down a lot more often, personally i have a 1976 f100 with 300,000 original miles on it and haven't had to do one major repair on it, the cars i see in my shop are %75 imports, they are a pain in the ass to work on and most of the time cost the customer much more money to fix them, but that's fine with me because they make me money. So you just stick to Black Ops and I'll stick to cars.

Nice video. I love the HID headlights and the blue interior. The Azera uses blue inside and during night just looks perfect. But the Genesis interior during night looks so great.

nice, i think ford has the best lighting out today my moms flex has similar ice blue lighting its really cool but the lincoln MKT has the best its got HID headlamps that swivel while you turn LED tailights and like all fords ambiant lighting i saw a reivew of one and thought that would be a great night car like my moms flex too bad she doesnt have the vista roof for the stars or the ambiant lighting but the flexs is a sewwt car worthy of kyles reivew

Yea Im older and nerdier I guess Im considering the 2011 Sonata. However 4 a 4 dr family car it sure looks sexy as hell! The EPA classifies it as a full size. Gotta say I like the new wave in the full size sedan! Wouldnt say theyre 4 old kodgers anymore!

The only thing I miss and I really would want on that car would be a homecoming/leaving function (lights turning on when its dark and car is unlocked/locked) - isn't that integrated or do you need to activate that in the options? Our BMW does have it, the Merc as well - I'd like to see that on the Genesis Coup as well ... sure would be awesome style!

I noticed it has rear fog lights, as well as front ones. Is that now standard in the US or is it something that appears on the non-US vehicles? Also, are the main beams HID?

This car is so awesome hows 300+ horses feel with that excellent gearbox kyle the closest i got to driving a car like this was a 2010 acura tl with 280hp and it had paddle shifters and i was amazed but this cars much more sporty and meant for u so awesome choice man and congrats big time

i really do hate imports but i like the blue interior, as well as HID's, it's too bad that it didnt come with LED tailights, although i guess if you buy a car brand new you have enough money to add them on

@madeinsony84 no, because i want to support our country as much as possible, if u want to send money to japan, china, korea, or germany, thats ur choice, its my preference, im a mechanic, domestics are much easier to work on and they break down a lot less, so go ahead and drive an import, just means more mustangs, camaros, and trucks for people that appreciate them

@PantstofryPWNZ a source? my whole life working on cars and my college of UTI,imports break down a lot more often, personally i have a 1976 f100 with 300,000 original miles on it and haven't had to do one major repair on it, the cars i see in my shop are %75 imports, they are a pain in the ass to work on and most of the time cost the customer much more money to fix them, but that's fine with me because they make me money. So you just stick to Black Ops and I'll stick to cars.
