O I Like it !!! The power of the Youth. Makes me remember when I was young. Tutti and Mighty Chords, full energy like a starting space shuttle. The only limit is that You must find somewheresomehow a point to land again on earth. It was great!!
Thanks for info. I have been playing for almost fifty years. I graduated from OCU in OKC but started organ studies at (now defunct) Phillips U. of Enid, OK(Seminary still exists.) I have been studying theatre organ as well now for about fifteen years. I am studying under Donna Parker's guidance (she is on you tube) O.D., the organist at OLPH Cathedral is an old associate and friend of mine and we are lucky to have him--as Holy Family is to have you! Hope to meet you one day! Keep On!
I appreciate your letting me know. I am in Tulsa frequently at Broken Arrow Tech Center-involved in ATOS and theatre organ promotion and organ in general. I wonder if you could tell me about the renovations? I am a parishioner at OLPH Cathedral in Oklahoma City. Your playing was quite masterful and did the instrument justice. Hear my applause!:)
@EstateManor The Cathedral itself recently underwent several years of restoration. Part of that process included repainting the choir loft and replacing/upgrading some of the pipes for the organ. The console was also upgraded some decades ago, though as far as I am aware, the organ is substantially the same as it was when originally installed in 1916 (if my memory serves me correctly).
