Crysis 9600 GT High Gameplay?

1 9600GT isnt going to do anything on High but play a fast slide show of the game my two GTS 250's barely get a constant 60fps all settings high with natural mod

@japorms318 don't go for the 9500 gt man. it's definitely not for gaming. Go for 9600 gt if you're on nvidia's side. As for the ati 4350 i ain't sure of its specs but if it ain't good, go for the 5670 GDDR5. It's cheap

Toby, I think that Crysis is only compatible with 32-bit systems, so you might as well have 3 gigs of memory, and despite it being a DX10 game, it still eats up CPU power. You probably need a quad core for high or more. Those are the only reasons I can think of...

please help,crysis is doing my nut in.ive completed on my 1650xt on low settings and low rez.i bought a 9600gt as i wanted to see it in its full glory.visually it looks great, but even on low settings it jerks when i spin round,even without motion blur. i have 4gb of ram, and a athlon x2 4200+, my borad is a low budget foxconn, but my other hardware makes up for it as the gpu runs call of duty4 bioshock ut3 brilliantly on high settings, ITS JUST CRYSIS!!! please help, why is it running so bad?

I have the same CPU, its a workhorse it does the job. I overclocked mine to 4.2 GHz after I stuck a big 80mm fan on her. She runs smooth as hell and quite cool for the OC. I'm thinking about getting 5400+ also.

to awnser pecamafia's question in the description. yes you should be getting more fps. i get 45 - 50 fps on high not at 1280x1024 no AA . the reason you're not getting good fps is because your cpu is really bottlenecking your graphics card.

Yes you should be getting more. Your CPU is limiting the potential of the card. 4000+ is old. Get atleast a 5600+ since you have an AM2 mobo.

Actually I think you should be getting a little more fps because you do have a 9600gt (which I have too) but your processor is bottle necking you. You should probably consider getting a new processor or overclocking/superclocking your processor to kick out a few more fps.

yes you shoukd its probabley youre processer. try a core 2 duo e6750 or a core 2 quad q6600. make sure youre mother board supports those processers.
