  • I got a very similar flashlight.. Bought it from ebay.. 9£ with shipping.. Chinese cloned version of mc10 I think. Actually feels solid and well built, but no memory and the grip got silicone overlay, no defuser.. Fenix is great.. Love my tk20.. My zebralight is also great, but the switch turns on to easy.. Sold my led lensers, I was not impressed..

  • @vectraB97

I love Fenix lights... every one of my Fenix lights has been great, not a single problem.

Thank you for watching, I appreciate it.

  • @X4CTO I was suspicious about the mc10 build quality before I bought this clone.. I have only seen pictus of it.. It so ugly that it actually looks cool. The multi angle head worried me enough that I didn't buy the original.. I may also buy the original now.. Especially if they make a 18650 version with xml led.. This design very is practical.. Magnetic bace works great combined with multi angle head.. Maybe a zoom head wouldn't be a bad idea on this lights big brother..

  • @vectraB97

HAHA! I agree... it is indeed so ugly I like it!

Very high quality light, I've had mine for awhile now and use it quite a bit... no problems at all and it's still working great for me.

  • @X4CTO DealExtreme claims that the the cloned version got 310lumen with 14500 batteries.. I wouldn't even try it out.. Heat sink is way to small and the reflector is led lenser style only with flat front.. It expect it to have around 125-140 lumen with AA.. The output is not that far away from my tk20.. The strobe is brighter.. Maybe close to 200lumen.. Definitely a great gift for 7-9£.

  • @vectraB97

I have never shopped at DealExtreme... not for me to be honest.

I don't much like Amazon either. I have some other outlets from which I get my discounted goods, haha... helps to have friends in the industry too I must say. =)

  • Looks like theres alot going on for such a small flashlight, nice and funny review, thanks :D!

Got me interested in this flashlight, looks like perfect all rounder for beginner, looking to buy my first quality LED light and this one seems really versatile. I take function over form any day, and this flashlight looks really beautiful ;)

One question tho, hows the clicky-angling mechanism, is it holding well together or has it worn out?

  • @rrreger

Yes there is indeed... it's a good little light with some good features in my opinion.

Thank you my friend, I appreciate that. =)

It's very versatile and very well built for sure... all my Fenix lights have been great, never a problem with a single one of them in fact.

The ratcheting angle head mechanism is still holding up well... it's just a little bit broke in I would say, but by no means has it developed play... very robust mechanism. I like it quite a bit overall!

  • Great light indeed! btw the tail cap has a safety feature, undue a tiny bit and it wont turn on.. Thanks for the review.

  • Absolutely! Great little light for certain applications... I reach for this light when working on the car or under cabinets, desks, etc... very versatile light.

Yeah I just noticed the tailcap lockout feature by accident the other day... pretty nice little extra feature.

You're welcome... and thank you for watching it! =)

  • 3:12 the best

  • LMAO... it's always really quiet around here until I start recording a video for some reason!

  • @X4CTO HAHA... Have a great day.

    -Adam

  • @X4CTO Haha

  • @X4CTO Haha... have a good day

  • I agree... the UI is nice, love the feel of the switch too. I've just always been impressed with Fenix lights.

  • LMAO... I agree... but it works good! =)

  • Yes it is... very ugly too... but useful I must say.

The L10R looks like a pretty good light too... might have to try one of those out as well.

  • I've been waiting on purchasing a light because I was waiting for something to really stand out. I often go backpacking and wanted something versatile for cooking at night, reading in the tent, general lighting, etc. I have a headlamp already but wanted a good backup with many options. With this I can set it on a table, clip it to my pants, or even hang it from the tent. Ordering now!

  • Nice... I think you will like it for the tasks you mentioned. I have used it extensively for working around my carport and on my car, etc. Provides a good amount of light and a small and portable package... it's built really good too. I think you will be happy with the light. This one can also be used as a headlamp with certain headbands that are available out there... like the one by Nite Ize for example.

  • great vid as always. a good example of form following function i guess. looks like one of them military type lights. thanks for sharing. well done :)

  • Thank you brother!

Yes indeed... it has been very useful for me, especially when working in my carport or under the sink, etc.

It does look like one of those larger L type military lights indeed... that's the first thing I thought of when I seen it.

You're welcome bro... glad to have you watching always. =)

  • Nice vid, I would say it is Funky and Functional. Take care and have a great day.

  • Funky and functional is a good way to describe it indeed... or you could say it's ugly as hell and very useful, LOL.

Thank you my friend... same to you! =)

  • I like it, looks like a torch lighter.

  • Yes, I can see that indeed.

  • have to love those fenix lights

  • Yes indeed... I've not found a Fenix yet that I dislike!

  • ★★★★★

  • Thank you for the stars my friend! =)

  • @X4CTO

Yep I´m also a fan of Fenix but I like the models whitout diffrent modes (keeping it simple)

Tk 10 high and low mode no bullshit if you know what I mean. love it

also the new e E21 looks cool (ordered on yesterday)

Still the Mc10 IS on my list now.Keep it up.

  • Yeah I can definitely see the benefit of the simple one mode lights... that's one of the reasons you'll find me carrying the Streamlight Stylus Pro a lot... simple on and off, nothing else. I love my LD01 because it has three simple modes, high, med, low and that's all you need in an EDC light, if that.

For an outdoors light or self defense light I do like to have a strobe and maybe an S.O.S. and/or beacon mode too... but not for an EDC light.

  • Great review!!!! I still love my blue one! Perfect little work light since it stands up eh

  • Thanks Kat! =)

I remember your review of this light... one of the videos that made me want to try it out!

I love this little light for when I am working on stuff under the sinks, or when I am working on my car... works very well when you need a little light to sit around and give you some area lighting.

  • Thanks for sharing man... But I think i'll pass on this light just a bit to ugly lol

  • You're welcome... and thank you for watching.

It is very ugly, I agree, but it's also very useful.

  • what store did you but the fenix?

  • I bought several of my Fenix lights from a Fry's electronics store.

  • cool little light looks useful.

  • It has proved to be very useful for me indeed... on several occasions... ugly as hell though! =)

  • Cool vid man.

  • Thank you, I appreciate that!

  • wow...that really is a doofy looking light. i wouldnt think of EDCing it at all just because of the angle ya know? would be too bulky for my personal carry system.

  • I agree! LOL!

Yeah I don't use it as an EDC either to be honest... but I do carry it in my bag sometimes.

  • to be honest, i do nut in my pants whenever i diffuse my lights

  • LMAO... well you might want to get that checked out! =)

  • and a fuckin motorcycle comes by!!! >:(!! fuckin cock sucker

dude why are you so fucking hilarious? lol

  • LMAO... I don't know man... must be because I fell out of the back of my dad's truck when I was little.

  • looks like one of those little air horns

  • Haha, yeah it does actually.
