ありがとう！Hmmm actually I haven't seen many - and I don't have a TV. But one series I did watch recently (I borrowed it from someone) was an old one called ひとつ屋根の下. I enjoyed some things about it, like the fast pace and the comedy dialogue. But in parts I thought it the mix of very heavy themes (like rape, gangs, abortion ... ) and comedy was odd/offensive and didn't really work.

Thank you for the feedback. I can see your point about not worrying about having perfect Japanese. This experiment is not so much about me really wanting my Japanese to improve a lot. If that was my goal I would start studying again properly - or put more effort into spending time using the language in natural situations.

"sugoi" is an "i-adjective", therefore, when used as adverb, it becomes "sugoku".

sugoi yokatta -> sugoku yokatta

0:42 You can say '' kanjou ga waki mashita.'' It means something like I got hot with emotion.

When we call middle age man sexy, you can use '' 渋い(Shibui). But I'm not sure how to describe 渋い in English...

全体的に、自然な感じの日本語だったと思います。父親役の俳優の­名前は、舘（たち）ひろしさんですね。このドラマは設定が面白そ­うですね。
