@jessithecookie It really depends on how fast your hair gets oily, if your hair looks freshly washed after a couple of days then its fine. It's actually bad to wash your hair every day, but it wouldn't hurt to wash it 3 times a week. Hope this helps! :)

Oh my gosh, I thought I was the ONLY ONE who did that!!! It's so cheep and just as good as split end repair or any smoothing cream! I use a teeny tiny bit of Walmart's thick therapeutic moisturizing cream in a jar. Avon's Moisture Therapy lotions work so good too!

@FijianQtee No, no, The trick is to find a lotion that's not greasy and absorbs well into your skin or is really thick like a cream, rub a SMALL amount - like the size of the nail on your smallest finger, between both your palms just a bit to transfer, and then work through your hair.

if you want super shiny hair wash it once every few mont with soap (the one meant for clothes), it will leave your hair a little bit tanlgled up, but the luster will last days...

This actually works really well. Our scalps produce a natural oil that helps hair look smooth and shiny, but we sadly remove a lot of those natural oils with product, styling, and even washing our hair. GREAT tips. Keep it up!

@mlfkm0 I would think any hand cream. I've always used Jergens lotion, it seems to work, and as long as you don't go near your roots you're fine. Kandee did but when I do that my hair always takes on a greasy appearance just a few hours after applying.

Thanks so much for posting this! I went out and bought this product right away and if I just put some on my hands and run my fingers through my hair it gets rid of any flyaways and somehow makes my hair super wavy at the bottom (I have straight/tiny bit wavy hair) and soo lush.

My mother always tells me to put a small amount of hand lotion in my hair during winter to reduce static, and it's a tip I use all of the time!!

It's true - you put it in your hair and it really shines your hair, but you can only put a SMALL amount, or then it WILL look greasy!

@Charlielikesboys123 use warmer water when you wash it and heat tools like curlin iron and blow dryer but make sure u use a heat protectant cuz the heat strips the hair of it's natural oils and the folicules kinda go on over drive to produce more oils and along with that....hair! =) oohh and condition =0
