I'm not sure what the hell the point was to starting and shutting it off like 15 times. fatony252, you must have heard it wrong, he actually said it's all steel except for the dashboard which they used fiberglass. BreachAndClear123, I think it was intended to imply that the 32 was turned into a rat rod in the early 50s. And yea, doesralityexist, good point, if it was "made" in the 50s, obviously a 32 "made" into a rat rod in the early 50s, why all the modern stuff on it?
unfortunately with many of these vintage bad boys you dont have a lotta choice with some parts. I might have a '58 willys fc170 this summer and i already know that ill need parts that are no longer made for it, such as the rad and if the charging system ever goes, id go to 12v seeing then its a little eaiser to getr parts, and will probaly put another engine in one day, seeing the old super hurricane 26 l haed I6 wont run ofrever and its porbaly impossible to find parts to rebuild it.
Who are you trying to fool?? If this car was built in the 50's... who was crazy enough to put in a fiberglass dash? Alternator? Electric Fan? Modern wiring and fuses? spring shackles and shocks from a street rod catalog, billet overflow tube and column drop....what a hacked up mess!!!...... too many things have been changed if it was done in the early 50's.
That engine is the second best sound I have ever heard.

Dosent matter if half the parts are fiberglass. As long as it looks good its ok for sitting at the hamburglar stand.
