All cats have different personalities just like humans. I have 5 cats. I have an independant, cuddlebug, crybaby, class clown, and of course a grumpy cat. I imagine that most people commenting do not have cats or have never had an angry or grumpy one. My grumpy kitty will come looking for me to play this exact game. He loves it and when he has had enough he moves on! Get real people. This cat is annoyed, but not being hurt!

This is exactly how he would do to me, but at the same time he never bit hard or drew his claws at me, and when he got too worked up I'd stop and just let him calm down, which I doubt the family before did. She looks like she's actually having fun. If she was angry she wouldn't have let go of your hand and would've made you bleed or something. Plus a good sign of a cat being angry is if her ears are pointing backwards and/or their tail's wagging. None of that is happening in this video. So good job :D
I have two 8 month old tuxedo kittens (one is more cap and mantle), and while they don't quite growl like that (yet), they do play VERY rough with each other. They will give a warning "MEOOOW!!" when it gets too rough. They play with us humans once in a while, but they know how to take it easy on us, and keep their claws retracted. They are animals, and it's their instinct to box, wrestle and make intimidating noises for play as it's their training for what they'd do if they were in the wild!
What I have learned from watching all these videos about cats is that they are as different as can be. But, fyi cats can endure an incredible amount of pain and not appear to be any different....they even purrrr as a means of comforting themselves. Some cats are a serious danger with claws and have to be declawed, though.
When cats are declawed they don't have their claws 'pulled out' they have the entire first knuckle in their toes amputated. This causes them immense pain since they normally balance on their toes, which can change their attitudes and behaviors, which is why most 'angry cats' are declawed cats. How happy would you be if someone cut your fingers and toes off?
that black cat is so beautiful. My cat is a max (male) and he pees around the house so my dad has to hunt him down, grab him but the fur and rubs my cat in his own pee.... it's funny to watch but last time he got away and ran up the wall... scratched me and ran to his hiding place

I've seen alot of declawed cats who are just like this. They know they cant claw you anymore, so they just growl and swat and bite everything. I'd rather have a cuddly nice kitty that accidently kneeds and claws me than a mean ass cat that bites me and isn't worth two shits for a petting.

I had my cat for 16 years.. she had her claws removed wen she was a few months old.. she never showed any aggression towards me and my family.. she always snuggled with us, licked us, greeted us wen we got home. She did not hold a grudge or w/e.. she just gave us love. I don't see the problem if its an indoor cat and you give it as much love and affection as it wants. Just cuz we remove their claws doesnt mean we don't love cats

Why not declaw a housecat? They don't need them to hunt or fight because they're housecats. Their claws destroy furniture and hurt humans. @lovlyanime No, I do not regret that she was declawed for a second. It wasn't even my decision. I have another cat that was declawed and is the sweetest cat you could ever imagine. This one had an attitude before declawing, and has the same attitude now. If she had the claws to do it, she would hurt the other peaceful cats any chance she got.

I have 6 cats. Two of them play like this. The sounds are just part of the game. I have one that lays at the foot of the bed at night. When I get in an slide my feet down toward him, he growls , hisses, bites and swats. I will push him around with my feet and he will do this until one of us gets tired then he comes over and snuggles up against me and goes to sleep. We both enjoy it. Him and I are the only two males in the house. We stick together.

@asgardpictures That cat is clearly agitated. Those sounds the cat is making in the vid is a clear indication. Maybe the cat is just putting up with it because you're the one that feeds it. Ever think of that?

@SatchMMA NO, because, A: my girlfriend feeds her, and pretty much spoils her. and B: She comes over to pick fights and play with me. Why is that so hard for some of you out there to grasp. I have another cat, that has it's claws that spends it's day picking fights with the other cats. They are naturally aggressive. This black cat only likes to have play fight sessions with me. She bitch slaps the other cats and moves on, but me she'll stay and rumble with.

you declawed your cat didnt you? most declawed cats change their behavior and become more aggressive because they feel they are not as threatening as before now that they cant attack an enemy with their most effective weapon(claws)... now they need to act like dogs and use their teeth... poor cat! i hope you regret what you did!

@lovlyanime No, I do not regret that she was declawed for a second. It wasn't even my decision. I have another cat that was declawed and is the sweetest cat you could ever imagine. This one had an attitude before declawing, and has the same attitude now. If she had the claws to do it, she would hurt the other peaceful cats any chance she got.

I have 6 cats. Two of them play like this. The sounds are just part of the game. I have one that lays at the foot of the bed at night. When I get in an slide my feet down toward him, he growls , hisses, bites and swats. I will push him around with my feet and he will do this until one of us gets tired then he comes over and snuggles up against me and goes to sleep. We both enjoy it. Him and I are the only two males in the house. We stick together.

My dogs and cat do e same thing.
Just because animal is hissing or growling dosent mean they are angry. Some animals play rough.
My dogs will bite my hands when I mess with them. They just play bite.
