there is a fine line in being creative and self indulgent, he'll probably make a decent jazz musician one day but this is a singing competition and his singing is weak. every note ends in aa..eeh or mmm-eeh, or just an mmmmmm, just sing the song for crying out loud, and sing something that most people have at least heard of. he is gone unless Paul beats him to it.

Casey is a fantastic, true artist. I am so happy he did what he really wanted to do, he was right anyway:) I think he would have been great doing "In the air tonight", but that is not what he felt. Who cares if this song isn't well known, music is an art and makes people feel wonderful. I hate how the music industry only likes selling "popular" and sex. This performance was wonderful, and him and Haley are the best in my opinion.

It takes a listening soul to appreciate Casey and his artistry in jazz. He brings his own style to the table. Jazz is all about making it your own--improvise. Casey doesn't need to scream like James or dance like drunken-chicken Paul. He brings his talents by showcasing his music sensibility. Don't bash it. EMBRACE diversity in music.
