wouldnt be hard to do, i mean the gas shotgun shells are about the same size as a .50 just wedge on inside of it, mod the barrel so it lines up nicly, then you can have some nice huge shells pumping out your rifle :D

The reason why this gun shoots full-auto is due to two reasons

1:(obvious) it lacks a mosfet chip

2: due to the high powered spring, shooting on semi with a low battery, the spring could lock up, to unlock it without disasemmbling the gun is to shoot on auto

Well, I have a sniper SR25 with a Prometheus PSG1extended barrel. I love it and it shoots the same fps as the Barrett. Now... my gun has full auto also which is not true to the real SR25. I think it's do to the heavy spring. When the batteries die the gears slow down and they lock up. The only way to get them unlocked is to shoot the gun at full auto with fresh batt's and you're good. Otherwise you'll have to disassemble the gun and crack the case open every time it jams.

The problem with the gun being restricted to semi auto only would be that if the anti reversal switch locks up in the gear box you would have to disassemble the gun and gear box to fix it.... not exactly fun in the middle of a war. However, with the full auto addition you are able to fire a few shots in full auto and flip back to semi to bypass the anti reversal lock should your gearbox lock up.
