Once I saw at AXN a tribute to the 9/11 tragedy done by the csi. It presented Mac Taylor holding a beach ball saying that it contains his death wife's breath in it. I'm looking for it pm me please if you have it.

Thanks for mentioning this transparent travesty. History Channel is going the way of A&E (Which began with a mix akin to Bravo meets PBS). It's ALL about pimiping productions & $. Before it's merger with Alliance, Atlantis built the Canadian film & TV indulstry from and for the private sector. A Greek tragedy to see the aborration it has since mutated into within the sapce of 2 generations. Saturn does eat it's children. Randy Resh.

actually the problem you guys talked about are also happening here in Hong Kong where the high-quality, neatly produced shows are shut out of the major channels and can only survive on the cable channels. While the major channels are showing us nonsense drama with the superstars on it

After all, it's still a advertisement and sponsor thing

Thankfully the more money they make, the more they have to spend on Canadian content. So maybe this stupid thing might pay off..ya know.. if they air great Canadian content based on history like... .... SCTV is a part of history..right? RIGHT!? ..meh

Unfortunately that's not really how it works - especially since the CRTC announced a new agreement (since the last agreement spending on Canadian drama shows has gone down 61%) the new agreement doesn't help Canadian Content but they did lift all regulations on advertising - so as many ads as you want by 2009! Neato
