if you really want to locate someone, leave those posters at a boozecan=speakeasy. and the legal bars and pool halls. if you can afford it, hiring a proven private eye wouldnt hurt. with him, the cops, and the dudes in the bars lookin around, you might find the one you seek.

If you notice I never said forget... but at this point one has to "let it go"... Carl's family does'nt know where she is and Becky's mother has gone to the point of digging up other peoples graves to see if her daughter in under them.... And what medical problems she had: gastric bypass surgery?

And yes I have experienced not the loss, but the same situation; a cousin who eventually left the "love of her life" after he smashed her face not once but three times... eventually like Beckys mother said you get 'sick and tired' of dealing with it and seeing her go back to the same situation ...

Maybe its time for the family to have a burial/memorial w/o the body and let her go...

This story was featured on 20/20 recently as well... and its time for the mother to just let it go... if carl did it he's dead [and so is becky as well] They will probably never find her body [and yes that sucks] but harrasing Carl's family who had nothing to do with Carl's murder of Becky is just wrong and just extends the pain of this tragedy infinitum

And Becky's mother seems to be a bit of a media whore about this tragedy, notice how she's in shape now between this and the 20/20 interview

She's not "in shape" now. She had a severe medical problem, required surgeries, and everything that she has gone through has affected her weight as well. And to those who knew and loved Becky, it is impossible to forget that she is now completely 100% gone from our lives. How are you supposed to forget something like that? Obviously you have never experienced what it's like to lose a loved one to something other than a natural, expected death. For your sake, I hope you never learn.

Ofcourse you can't let go if you do not know what exactly happened or where she is. I am also suspicious of the boyfriend. It would not have been the first time a boyfriend did something to his girlfriend. The problem is that he is dead and can't ever tell something anymore. I think the chances will be slim to find her know and that will be eating. I wish strength.

@antigone414  I agree with you. I don't have children and am very laid back but I do not know what I'd do if my child just came up missing. Unfortunately there are a lot of "Carls" out there and that is the sad part of this story.
