@Spartan117FS that's a common misconception, a decoy is not necessary especially since they drive so close to each other. it's actually a spare limo and it has been used before. the president has actually gotten out of one and into the other when the one he was in broke down!

Good lord, talk about overkill. I know he is the President, but does he really need all those vehicles following him? Compare this to the Queen of England that travels with one police motorcycle in front, her car with her and a protection agent, and a car behind that with 4 agents. It's not like Obama really needs so many agents, he is already traveling in a bullet proof limo, so I would think she wouldn't need more than 4 or 5 other cars following him.

Set up some car to like stop in front of the caravan, then have 3 people with 50 Cal sniper rifles take shots at Obama from a obscured vantage point. Never mind the fact that the limo couldn't handle that kind of weight. Its a car. Only so much you can do with it. He should be riding in a tank...

I would assume that he also has a helicopter doing surveillance, as well as jets circling above. Considering that is what's done for the Canadian Prime Minister.

This is pretty much the same size motorcade that Bush 41, Clinton, and Bush 43 have used...local police at the front, then USSS command cars, a couple of "Beast" armored limos, three or four black USSS warwagons, a van for the nuclear football and WH physician, several white vans for White House staff and press corps, the USSS tactical support truck, the WHCA van, an ambulance, and more local police bringing up the rear.

Its not an ambulance its a special secret service tactical force almost like swat. In case the president is under fire the team moves in to give enough time to get the president out. They are always suited up and ready to go in all motorcades. It also carries anti missile equipment, extra ammo, and automatic weapons.

Get your facts right. Obama took over when the ship was sinking thanks to Bush policies. Remember he was voted in to fix the mess. He didnt cause it. As for the security Bush came to London in 2003 with 700 people. Clinton went to Asia in 2000 with 1000 people! Obama is in Europe now with 500 people. If anything he's cut down from the previous presidents. If you have nothing positive say its better to keep quiet than to tarnish him with inaccuracies..

Congress makes the bills but the president passes them, or not, and just vetos the bill until congress edits the bill then revotes again which can be a lengthy process. Last time I checked Bush kept vetoing bills in his last year; except the Bailouts which he signed for.
