Funny thing that until i red your comments i never realized that their tracks are short. The thing is that if you listen to the whole album (like Geogadi) all bits forms a whole and create sort of a story line that flows smoothly. I was never disturbed if a track was too short! Now that i am thinking about, i take that such short tracks are like some subconscious feelings that u are familiar with but you can't really explain. They are like "freezing" the moment.

I heard an inverview with BoC when they released Seven Forty Seven, and I think marcus said that when they do come up with songs and melodies, the songs often become short because they both don't want the songs to become too repetetive and that they also simply lose their train of "imagination" and don't know how to continue. But sure, BoC songs do have a deeper meaning, often.

The selection on youtube is generally pretty limited. Nice thing about BoC is it's so ambient that you can just put one song on repeat and practically forget that it's the same song again and again. Check out Dayvan Cowboy and Chromakey Dreamcoat.
