  • What does he mean that designers had to make sure that sites work across platforms and that they have to look at code all the time? Where has that part gone? I want to get rid of that part too!

  • @felone2 He's referring to the use of layout grid systems such as 960.gs, which provide a consistent column-based layout that's proven across different browsers, meaning you can focus your efforts on other elements of the design.
