Sir, is the message doctrinally sound? Is he speaking the truth? Pastor Meeks is a theological and homelectically sound expository preacher. Notes are a choice not a mandate. If your non note message is not practicl, portable, principled and powerful then you missed it.

Has it ever occurred to these fool who thinking using notes are wrong, that perhaps GOD gave them the notes, and they wrote for the hearing of the people, and they wanna say just as GOD gave it to them.....write the vision & make it plain!

Thats my pastor...and I wouldnt care if he preached off piece of paper found in the garbage...That man is annointed...:) People r so stuck in the old days...Wake up and praise the Lord..stop being a hypocrite :)

I am from the south as well and that is the biggest bunch of foolishness that I have ever heard. I do not know one preacher that will look down on another preacher here in the south for using notes. That's pure foolishness. There are some that dont use notes and need to.

Preachers who preach from notes are no less annointed then those who preach wthout notes. I have some great friends, who preach from notes, and they can reck a houe. On occasion, I preach from notes. those who look down on others because of foolishness like that are just caught up on a fad that has no biblcal vitality.

First off, I'm not here for disputes, I made a comment, I'm from the south, I'm stating what's done here, you can call it foolishness or whatever, it doesn't matter as far as who am I to question his calling, I'm a man that calls it like i see it, I didn't search for this dude, some stranger sent it to me, but he could have kept it. as far as reply, you don't have to, cause I don't want to know.

In the South we frown upon Pastors that preach from a pad, pastors here don't use notepads, if they do, they won't be preaching from a church, it's not allowed. If a Pastor is truly God sent then he doesn't need a pad, all he need is the Holy Bible.

LOL @ the junk church folk can come up with!!! So much I could go on to say, but who are u to question his or anyone else's "calling" b/c of the fact that they use notes...LMBO!?!? We as Chistians need to cut the crap & stop looking down upon & judging others b/c of denominational or any other differences that we may have!!! Where in the Bible does it say anything about someone's calling being questionable b/c they use notes??? It's man-made foolishness & I'll be glad when we get over ourselves!
