  • il ya tres belle henna

  • OMG! How in the world did you get that henna so elastic like, mixing some now and it definitely doesn't stretch like that!

  • @MindMovin Adding dextrose, fructose, plain table sugar, or many other sweeteners, will make the paste elastic, stringy, smooth and shiny in consistency. This enables you to drape straight lines without it breaking. It will also help it stick to the skin longer. Be careful though - if you're in a humid climate, adding sugar can make your henna slimy, gooey, weepy and unmanageable! Regardless whether you like your paste stiff or loose, sugar can improve the consistency immensely!

  • Where do u buy the henna mix from reply plzzzzz?????

  • @21hotish We mix our own henna paste. If you want information on how to prepare henna, you can find a free downloadable e-book at tapdancinglizard -dot- com.

  • i have a question.... the henna we use for our hair.. can we like use the same henna for like the hand????? plz reply! =)

  • @juicystar24 henna for the hair doesn`t have the same same dye content as henna for body art. It doesn´t stain dark on the skin you need to get body art quality henna.

  • hi were do you get the carrier bag from?

  • @sulia12456 The bags are called "piping bags." They're used for cake decorating. Look up "piping bag" online and you'll find suppliers.

  • hello what measurements do you use for the cones?

  • @angelface190081 Cut the mylar into ten-inch squares and then cut each square in half at the diagonal.

  • a question, henna for hair is the same as that used for tattoos?, I have seen a natural henna powder and water is added to the ink is ace, this is the same as that used for hair?

  • Henna will dye both hair and skin. We recommend you buy finely milled well-sifted henna for either body art or hair dyeing. Jamila is a good brand and widely available in the US.

You can learn more about dyeing your hair with henna and download a free e-book at

    hennaforhair-dot-com.

  • ok tanks

  • thx

  • this reminds me of wrapping a cone from parchment for piping roses on to a cake

  • my biggest problem is finding the mylar to make cones, I've tried several types of materials but all to soft to roll a good cone. Tried party stores & can not find it anywhere

  • Try florists. They use mylar as part of the wrapping for cut flowers.

  • how long can u save the henna paste before it gets bad?

  • Room temperature...approx. two days.

    Refrigerator...approx. 4 days.

    Freezer...approx. 1 year

  • hey this is awsome but can anyone please tell me the kind of papper i have to use to roll the cone because i want to make my own cones at home thanx

  • What you see in the video is mylar giftwrap material. You can find it at party supply stores.

  • super useful ty!

  • yo tengo henna en polvo

pero no se muy bien como pepararla

    x fas ayuden

    XD xp

    bye

  • no mamen como preparo la henna en polvo?? y la hhena para el pelo sirve para tatuajes??

    xfas respondan

    grax

  • i think using this cone will be more accurate than using an improvised squeezer..

  • thank you thank you thank you thank you

  • its useful

  • is the amount of henna in that cone enough for one design? (like on the back of the hand or the palm)

  • A cone the size you see in the video holds enough to do an elaborate design on a palm and fingers with some paste left over.

  • Thanks very clear and useful

  • plus if u use syringes if you dont make the paste the right thickness the needle can break off and yull have henna all over you

  • hola me encanta donde puedo encontrar esos materiales?

  • usted puede encontrarlos en

    mehandi(dot)com.

  • Where can you buy this type of paper? Please no online websites. And why can't I just just plastic wrap, or foil paper ?

  • u can use a ziploc plastic bag but u have to follow the instructions online.. it's pretty useful in this manner. like yourself i was wondering where i could find that kind of paper material lol

  • hey ive seen diz kinda paper in stationaries...

  • Florist or craft store.

  • We get the material from stores that sell party supplies. It's plastic gift wrapping.

  • syringes are good and easier to fill them, but this cone seems to be more handly to make the designs, sometimes syringes requires too much experience and precision :S and i dont have so ^^U

  • The first times I tried to fill the cone with a poon from the bowl.messy & time-consuming. Then I saw this & voila works like a charm thank you so much. Henna is pretty good but fine tuning to get the right proportions, almost got it!

  • so wait..how do you make henna? you cant can you?

  • its easy, you have to buy henna powder then to put it in a cup or something, then you can put hot tea if you want brown henna or coffee if you want black henna, some people put little sugar but I'm not sure why, just be carefull to not put a lot of liquid( tea coffee or hot water)

and its ready, i do like that, if others have a better idea then lets go, happy to learn new things

  • people put sugar in it tomake it stick more to your skin.

  • i heard black henna is dangerous to the skin.. is that true by any chance?

  • yes. the chemical added to make it black is dangerous. it can scar your skin. stay away

  • I don't remmeber who asked this, but yes black henna is bad for your skin. it had PPD in it and that can burn your skin, like a chemical burn, it can leave scars, cause rashes, blister, etc. looks up black henna in google, or PPD

  • you re using metal spoon? i read somewhere that it s not good.

  • I'm a beginner and I haven't done my henna as pleasing as I want it to be. I just want to know how to do the PERFECT PASTE. Thank you.

  • very very informative! my henna came with instructions that were not clear...and i think i get it now...thanks to your video. Only one question...what type of paper or wrap are you using? Is there a special type of wrap for henna?

  • The material is nothing special. It's mylar gift wrap that you can find in stores that sell party supplies. We cut it into triangles with razor knives and straightedges.

  • thank you!

  • What size triangles are you using? Thanks for the video!

  • The triangles you see in the video are 10 inches on the right angle sides.

  • wow its great, it really shows how it is done!Good video!

  • awesome....

  • thank you so much for the video!!!!
