I know what you mean re. the mist tornadoes. They are relatively easy to produce. But this is a true tornado that is picking up fine dust from the bottom of the chamber. We had to use very fine glass micro balloons to get it to work at low air velocities.
Woot to the first comment but that's not a dust devel. Dust devils form when warm updrafts meet prevaling winds and begin to rotate. And they suck up dust. This machine is technically a mist devil.

This is actually dust, not mist. It is extremely fine glass particles.
