I have own Italian cars, and yeah every time I buy from the motherland it ends up fn me. I just bought this three wheeled italian scooter to teach my girl to ride(safety first), and well lets say I am already feeling the F. I really was obsessed with the 848 evo stealth Duc but when I really think about it($900valve adjustment every7000). I am a kwaki green guy.
I dunno about every day. Point of fact: The owner of the Ducati in my vid bought a second bike to use as a daily driver. Not sure about the valve adjustment. But I can tell you that it ain't cheap to maintain an Italian piece of art. I've heard the owner talk about how much it cost him to maintain this bike and how often it is in the shop.
Hehehe....I should explain why three of these bikes wear the sides more than the center. Not so much that we are good. Just that the Duc, Repsol and R1 are really canyon bikes. They are not used to commute regularly. So most of the miles they get are in a lean :)
The R6 usually wears the tires more evenly 'cause Lady L rides her bike everywhere.
Yep....the tubular frame and white paint are real similar. That 2011 Daytona 675R with the Brembo brakes and Ohlins suspension is a killer looking bike. Check out the July Sport Rider Magazine article on page 64......nice bike!
Nah...she held her own in the canyon. She rides pretty good in the twisties. If we where on the straights she'd be way left behind. By everyone except me. I'm no dummy ;)
Your correct. Wish I had gotten this on tape. Just leaving the gas station before hitting the canyon: Repsol revs his engine, nice growl of the Taylormade exhaust. I rev my R1, nice growl of the M4 exhaust. MTM revs his Ducati, nice roar of his Termignoni pipes. Then not to be out done Lady L revs her R6, stock exhaust goes "meow" in a nice kitten purr. We all start cracking up, LOL!!! Good times :)
Simple but there is something awesome about it, i thinks it's the wide angle ;)

Yeah...I think the EVO stealth is a sick looking bike. It's on my list of toys to get after I hit the lottery big :)
But my R1 is my baby :D

I love my R1. But the Ducati has beautiful lines. The Repsol has the best color scheme, IMHO. The R6 is a sexy 600.
But at the end of the day, I'm sticking with my R1.
