I have this wonderful song on 78rpm. My copy has a defect in middle so it was nice hearing a clean copy. This melody is also used in a sephardic song. To me this proves that music is not of race, religion, or skin color but of the heart and soul.
This is a great song I have on 78rpm and cannot believe I found it here. On the other hand I should not be suprised. You Tube is wonderful. My 78 unforutunately has a big defect in the middle where it pops through about 10 seconds of song. I still believe it be a treasure. The melody is the same as a Sephardic song. 1974 I learned this song in turkish in Helsinki. Since this it has been my favourite and I have sing it often. Greetings from Helsinki, Vuosaari !
