  • wat power is it making ???

  • when it run 10.80 it had 385rwkw, when it run 10.47 had 425rwkw

  • car is now for sale anyone want a 10 sec typhoon with a RWC email me xrfpv8@iprimus.com.au

  • My BF F6 got 310rwkw pulen over 1000nm, and that scares me, i cant imagine this....lol grippen too!! :O

  • Nice ET. Were you running slicks?

  • No slicks, we used a drag radial 275x40x17 M/T.

  • Hi mate.

    TUFF!!!!!!

Just curious what you've done to the zf?

My utes tuned at Springy Performance and putting out 382rwkw, could you give me any pointers on the launch...

  • Hi at the time I run my car street trim for this 10.80 the auto was standard, in fact I couldn't kill it, it done at least 100 1/4 mile passes.

with the new best time of 10.47 in race trim the auto and stall have been modified by

    Dominello A J Automatic Transmissions

756 Old Northern Rd, Dural, NSW 2158

    p: (02) 9651 5803

with the launch have your tuner put in the setting to manipulate the torque settings use foot brake and hand brake at the same time to build boost then take off.

  • Seen This Car At Market Place Auto, Tuff Machine, 'Spoolman', Hows Clarks Car Going?

  • Slowly he likes to have everything 100% spot-on, the Pontiac will be a very nice race car when finished...

  • OMG that was beautiful bro. What type of oils are ya using?? ;)

  • Martini racing lubricants for diff and cooling, the engine has always used Nulon 15w/50 full synthetic.

  • holy crap, all that power to the floor with no wheelspin.

    Jesus!

  • amen to that, 'twas a great launch.

  • What Boost is it running and what sort of RWKW is it making to get those times?

  • This set-up made 385rwkw on Martini 110 unleaded fuel, the boost 18/19psi.

  • go mark

  • Spoolman's just ran a 10.47@135.34mph last weekend. Still with the same Phase3 aps kit.

  • i would do anything to get my T56 manual F6 to launch like this!!!

Not one bit of wheel spin! i can't do that.........

  • ZF6 Performance right there... Best thing since sliced bread... Perfect gear changers everytime! Haha

  • not so much wat trans you have....get some grippy tyres

  • hows the start much better then the 10.90 !.

just sitting there boosting it up and take off anyone could drive it you would think so smooth.

    Ford.

  • 10.90? went 10.80

The ZF AUTO is makes these cars very smooth and a joy to drive.

  • wasn't it a 10.90 on the other video?, or am i getting yellow ones mixed up here lol.

    Ford.

  • the other YELLOW F6 is my mates, his was the 1st - 10 sec f6 10.92. his best time is now 10.89.

we both live in Melbourne and use the same tuner Autotech Granville N.S.W

  • ah lol i see now, bet you guys have fun being so close times, but im sure you can give him a little curry for being a touch slower lol.

    Ford.

  • nice dose, very clean takeoff

  • oh what a sticky track it was back then.....now 4 get it.

  • Calder just put in a concrete start line things should be better for take off now.

  • Screw the V8's for a joke ! I'm getting one of these next, but will leave it stock, i think it's quick enough as is !!

  • That thing is a dead set rocket. You blink and it's 400 metres down the road. Very impressive stuff, mate! Just goes to show the amazing things you can do this car.

  • Very nice,im tempted to change my 2003 M3 for a phoon!

  • Are you serious? I'm tossing up between a 2003 M3 and a FG F6. I like the idea of the extra space in the F6 (I have kids) but like the handling and peformance of the M3.

  • That's a nice but tough choice!! I'd go the F6 myself, choice of colour and you know it's brand new so you know it's history. doubtless most M3's are still pretty well looked after, but the F6 is a seriously compelling package!

  • I think you'd regret that choice in a year or two when you go to sell the F6. The M3 would have far greater re-sale value. These falcons just drop so much in price!

  • @Boostinpulsar m3 $150'000 , f6 $65'000, m3 12.7 sec quarter mile, f6 13.4... a couple of grand in mods and you would easily flog an m3 and have $80'000 left over

  • I agree the new FG F6 are doing 12's stock... even the jurno's pulled a 12.9.

  • @dazzasmitty to true.

  • @dazzasmitty

FG Typhoons do 12.6 on the quarter stock.

  • @brazzr yes

  • The F6's don't drop in value man! If they are kept stock as possible, Low K's and the ones that are done are Highway K's, Nice interior and no damage done to the body you are easily looking at a maximum loss of 10K!!! But not only that these engines are stronger #1 and #2 M3's fall apart much easier trust me my 2 mates have one and they are always dropping diffs and you know how much parts cost for European cars??!! They are really really expensive compared to Ford parts.

  • @Boostinpulsar easy mate just buy one second hand or even cheaper just buy a older ba turbo spend 10k on this kit and a xr8 diff and wasted them all, 307kph proven and 10 second quaters

  • the BA has weak conrods, unless you build an engine your not going to go any where in a hurry with reliability, BA also has weak auto and there 5 speed manual is not very good either.

Buy a BF XR6T 2007 on and you get the same engine, auto and diff as the BF F6.

  • F6 would be your best bet. The M3's have lost touch in recent times, and besides, by the time you buy an M3, you've got an FG F6 with better performance and handling (if you pay an extra 20-30k).

  • hey mate your car looks and sounds awesome...im looking at getting one myself do you think auto is the way 2 go?

  • zf 6 speed auto best auto in the world, very strong, it can be driven like a manual, there like no other auto go drive one..

For 1/4 mile racing it has be an auto, boost wont drop like a manual.

  • your right about being the 1 and only auto box to get i love em, but the M6 is a difference driving experience altogether. like you said, auto for the drags, but manuals for the fun!

  • That's sick dude !! Some of the current Porches , BMW's, Mercedes and even Lamborgini's aren't that quick !

Sure your's is modified but i bet it didn't cost over $200K !

  • thanks koftas, the APS Phase 3 kit on my car is $9000 complete drive in drive tuned.

  • fark thats quick... thanks for posting .. awesome

  • thanks pal ill keep you posted,as long as it does good nuts ill be very happy. hahah

  • i aak cause i have an f6 manual got a big cooler, 60lb injectors, actuator just waiting on my tune, good too see people racing these. just gives me a range of the pass i could do.

  • yours being a manual you have your work very hard for good time, 11.5 is the manual record.

    good luck with it..

  • Auto is cheating! Seemed to be no fuss off the line. What tyres? Radial slicks?

  • I wouldn't waste my time in a manual, to slow for 1/4 mile work, tyres used were M/T's Radial.

  • Fucking quick car man, is it a built motor?

  • Hi and thank-you for your comment, no its a factory engine with Crow race valve springs, also the following are all from factory, turbo, manifolds, dump, auto and diff...

  • Nice vid and car mate well done!!It is a real holden killer!! If i was able to buy a new car at the moment it would have to be a F6!!!!!!!!!!

  • Also, good to see Pete Luxon's original APS kit being the best of the best!

  • Massive effort fellas! Top stuff!

    Another great achievement Spoolman.

This is why I bought an R Spec F6, tuffest car on the road!

  • Well done guys, a great achievement. These F6's are truly the greatest OZ made car at the moment.
