Video value is dependant on individual knowledge of kidney health & disease. 2007 a nephrectomy removed suspect tumors. Thought I had been sufficiently proactive acquiring the information. Wrong. Subsequently, 2 blood tests yearly my internal specialist hasn’t voiced concerns. Acquiring copies I developed concern. Question: what is ‘gfr’? I suspect I’m Stage 3 CKD. I stumbled on this when I needed reassurance. Maybe dialysis is more than prolonging death while reducing quality of life.
