How well would this pedal work for higher gain settings? I want a reverb pedal that i can use to get the parieseine walkways sound. I play my TT on full gain with a LP BFG and also want a nice sound like in sweet child of mine by g'n'roses ect. Think this be ok? Cheers
I had problems when it came to the high gain settings with any front end pedals. loved the tone of this amp and the distortion but I needed an effects loop for my delay. you will find delays and modulation effects act strange in front of a distorted amp.
Hey Guy, nice vid, ty very much. Could you please try to do the same in funk-reggae style with the tone at about 3 or more. Ty, I have a Tiny Terror and i'm about to buy a Hoy grail.
When you have amp overdriven you have to really turn down the reverb like all time effects in amps without an effects loop. It works but you would have to see if it is to your liking. I sold this amp becaouse of no effects loop it would have been just what I wanted if only it had one. My local teck said he could put effects loop in for two to three hundred bucks. Any way this is a just plug in and play amp with great classic tone. Hated to sale put I love delay for my leads.
yeah I know that amps like this have a hard time dealing with some time based effects. I would just like to have a very small amount of reverb, barely noticable.. does this pedal produce a lot of hiss when the gain is cranked, even at lower reverb settings?
since you sold the amp I understand that you can't test this :-) just wonder if you tried it sometime?
Had a 59 reissue and a twin reverb reissue blues jr deville 2x12 and 4x10 and deluxe. All have great tone but all are very loud for playing at home. But this little amp at home is very cool for full range of tones Its like the history of rock in a box. Never had any orange amps and I have had a shit load of amps. I think I am going to run this with a blues jr for for a cool at home A/B rigg.
this amp still sounds mediocre even with reverb, totally not work 800$, thats about 100$ away from a 59 bassman and another $100 away from a super reverb.. maybe i just hate that british sound
MisEnPlace420 I think you are correct - the British amp sound is just not for you. This amp sounds great to me. It's definitely not going to do the Fender Twin thing at all, though. I like it with light crunch through hard rock. I own a Fender Princeton Reverb which I use for pristine cleans (not very often lol).
Hey what song is that 2:25. can't remember it.

I own the TT head. I wonder how it will sound if you crank the gain to about 1-2 o'clock and use a touch of spring reverb on the holy grail?
I'm not after massive hall-sounds, just a little touch of it.. how does this amp handle it?
good demo by the way :-)
I love SRV kind of musik

Never had a issue with hiss With And when used higher gain settings would have to turn reverb way down.

@ROBTUCSON so if you have the head and cab version can you just put the pedal between them or is this a bad idea.....

Does the Orange Tiny Terror have an fx loop?

No effects loop so for time effects like delay can be issue.

Thanks, that was helpful. The reverb definitely adds to the clean sound.
