Okay, so I met you at Starbucks on the 21st of July ( which is in fact yesterday - technically two days ago, but it's like half midnight, so it's still yesterday ) and I'm actually doing the same thing you are, but for a year.
The biggest thing to look out for is what food shops fry in and cook with. Send me a message and I'll share all my tips. I'm running out of characters really fastly...
Hey!! Nice seeing you again! Thanks. I'm doing a poor job at the whole fried food thing, not really looking out for that. I should but its only been a week so...I should start looking out for that. Thanks!
Wow, I can post comments now. Ok, so Get lots of delicious fruits. Peaches, strawbewies, blueberries, raisins, apples, bananas...oh crap bananas, I forgot those on my pancakes. :(
And for veggies, steam them to a soft touch and add salt :) Also, I will make some veggie soups.
Thanks for the sunflower recommendation, its coming in handy. ;)
Oh, and try to eat some tostadas with sauce and some tortillas...mmm, that's your corn right there :D
Indian and Mediterranean food are both really good for finding recipes.
Foods that try to emulate meat tend to fail; it's better to focus on making something taste good rather than trying to make it taste like something it's not.
Make sure you combine proteins within a day (grain+dairy/legume or whatever)...
Eat dark leafy greens for iron or pop a multi-vitamin with iron (some don't have it) in it if you don't feel like it.
I really hope I helped. I have been at this way of eating for a while and have more to share with you if you would like.
You combine seeds and nuts with legumes such as peas, beans and such for complete amino acids like meat has. The combination does not have to be all at one meal though it can be spread out during the day. hit my page up if you need more suggestions
find a good protein powder .The best and healthiest in my opinion SunWarrior Protein, its like moms milk and has tons of iron in it. It tastes great and wont make you bloated like dairy based protein. add 2 scoops , 2 cups frozen fruit, and 1/4 tablespoon olive oil, drink for a fast meal.
eat one large salad every day , find a good salad dressing put some dark lettuce, or spinach try to put chickpeas in it and sunflower seeds.
take 2 cups mixed vegetables and 1 can black beans cook together in pot. once done (15 -20 minutes) add 1/4 cup pecans. add some spices your choice.
one more
put 1 jar prego, 2 cans dark kidney beans, 1 can french cut green beens, 1 can peas, and chopped green onions in pot. Cook until hot. put some texas toast with cheese in oven eat :)
Hey don't worry about the negatives. It's not going to be as hard as you think. You'll even save some money along the way! There are plenty of ppl who are willing to help. Now I'm going to go back to my 16oz med rare ribeye. :EVIL LAUGHTER:

As long as you stay dressed as a French vampire for the whole month, you'll do fine.
