2 camera 3D works but it requires High end graphics cards to do the depth maps. So too much power needed for a mobile  sentry gun. Nvidia's Maxwell architecture should open up that possibility in 2013.

A professional application could use pepper balls in real world security applications to protect building during riots.. Shipping is also looking for non lethal deterrents to use against pirates.

Have you considered a lighter hopper set up? It would help the accuracy, as it looks like some is lost by the shaking from the hopper. A q-loader setup rigged with a low center of gravity may help.

I was looking at some other videos of yours. It seems that the Co2 that exits the barrel seems to distract the targeting system. I would reccomend HPA it will help alot.

He tried, but they're not the optimal design choice (both price-wise and stability-wise) for this kind of sentry. Realistically, TF2's sentry is not very good at all. It would need to plant itself into the ground to be effective. Portal's is more realistic.

What about stopping. I plan on getting one for airsoft and was wonder if there is a way to have a pause button so that after a confirmed hit, the "Turret Operator" can stop the gun from shooting until the target puts up a death rag or moves away from the FOV. Don't bash against the fact I play "Airsoft". It is my choice and I will not bash on those that like Paintball. Both are completely different game styles and guns and depending on the type of person you are, you might like one or the other.

you can, very easily, add a stop button or switch that cuts the power to the servos. it could even be a large target. i personally just have a switch by the camera. you can also add a remote kit to turn it on and off.
