  • I'm ex R Hampshire and its good to see the regiment is still going strong in the amalgamation with the Queens ( a fine regiment).

  • I served in 1950 with the 1st The Queens Royal Regiment at Iserlohn, Germany and since have served with the Gunners and SAS, but some of my best memories are of the 'The Queens'.

    They were a very smart regiment and I would consider one of the best! You could be on a charge for twisted boot laces! I was always proud to wear the badge of The Pascal Lamb! Happy memories!

    My Dad was in the 1/5 Queens for 6 years during the war. Dunkirik, africa, Italy and France to Germany. The Queens took Gent. he went back ther afer he left the Army.
