The place you want to go to buy a workbench for doing your own wood carvings, is at the market where that guy who sells wood carvings is ;) The profit you get from selling your carvings depends on your creativity level, as well as the type of wood you use (petrified wood is the best, but is more rare). :) Also, i believe the only places you can sell your wood carvings is at the same place you would get your workbench and the thrift store, but there may be others.
