  • great video. i'm glad to see someone use my idea of magnetic suspension of vertical mass which get's rid of the bearing/heat/wear factor in a near frictionless environment. your applications are very understandable thanks to your video's. i hope you take it further. keep your visions of what the future may be alive. 5*'s

  • Hi Lid. Your circuit is very impressive. I am going to modify my Electromagnetic engine which I got from Gakken. Thanks for sharing your works with your fans.

  • lidmotor, why not use an PNP transistor which the positive have a direct connection to the battery so it will be charged when the sphere magnet is spinning.

ahh so your saying i cant be lazy and buy a bundle of 10 guage wire and place the sphere magnet in the middle? thats so sad, rewinding low guage wires are very painful because they are thick :(

  • and why are you not using neodymium 2" N52 sphere magnets? i think it can generate 220 volts/ 110volts using low guage wires dont you think?

  • This may allow you to split the duty cycle and double back to source using your Joule Thief as charger between pulses. Looks like you are using flux4energizers common ground. Very exciting!

  • Does that Joule Thief coil wiring arrangement charge any better than the standard Bedini bifilar one?

  • zebok3-----This is really the same idea only done a little different. This common ground is an easier circuit. One DPDT switch is all that is needed to swap batteries.

  • I miss my toys, I miss my toys :) Looks very interesting so nice not to fight with bearings, someday we may get to the point that we just do the particles in the air. we may have our own thunderstorm Bedini :)

  • Mart---The " Bedini magnet tornado charger"?????lol

  • ROFL well Tesla used the earth as one great big battery, why not? :)

  • Nice!

Hey, its remind me to "magnet kicker"...

    Lolz!!

  • Wow , I love it !

    Heck, I love you too.....LOL

  • great... 5 stars

  • Thanks

  • is there same results using PNP vs NPN transistors?

  • Yes. This circuit can be reconfigured to run on either transistor.

  • can you use the shielded ones coil rather than bare coil?

  • kenshin---I don't think that it would matter.

  • ahh so its possible to buy the copper wire ones out of the box untouched that is used in electric wirings and still get good results? thank you for your reply

  • kenshin32---If you mean can you buy a ready made coil for this I don't think so. You have to make one.

  • Lid:

Some really good innovations there. It looks like your attracting levitation neos also keep the top in one place too? No friction and it reduces the weight, and keeps it located, wonderful. One modification and it gives you 3 advantages. Very well done. How does you circuit compare to the Bedini as far as amp draw and charger output? It looks like a good circuit to try.

    Bill

  • Bill--- This circuit will work on your 'Lidmotor coil'. I got the circuit working first on that coil. It is just something a little different to try. The amp draw and charging aspect is more like a JT than a Bedini.

  • Wow Lidmotor, that was a great project, really impressive. "Elegant" is the engineering term.

It suggests a cool design challenge: A solar panel/battery/supercap(?) version that can run 24/7 sitting in a south (or north) facing window. It has to be built around the reference top and magnet and batt, and then it's up to the designer for the rest. What size solar panel, what circuit, etc? On what date does it stop spinning as fall changes to winter? That would be way cool! lol

  • Actually I have already tried this on a small solar panel and it works just fine. It doesn't take much power. I have thought about putting it under glass (to keep the dust off) ,using solar power, and just letting it run until someday it stops. We start getting cloudy weather here in late October or November. Guessing the date that it stops would be fun. This one can be let run 24/7 because it is completely silent and doesn't bother anyone.

  • Rock on
