  • @Rbmonsta11 linemen need the most footwork on the field as a runningback myself i kno from all of the caps ive been to but i understand where your going dont underestimate there position they have the most important job limeman that is there feet have to move jus as fast as mie if not faster to block for me.

  • Nice I live in Maricopa do you host camps?

  • @KyleJoyner

No I don't at the moment but check out the workout videos there is plenty of footwork/ ladder work on my channel as well as resistance band work too. If any questions just message me and I will get back to you fairly quick.

  • I will post a tape that has my 6&7 year old kids doing these drils

  • what does all those drill going to change ure running ?

  • @Rbmonsta11

Footwork is about control. As a RB if you have better control of your feet/ body than the linebacker that's trying to tackle you, you will win. If you can make your cut and he can't react quick enough you can get by him. I also firmly believe their isn't a position on the field (including lineman) that can't benefit from footwork especially ladder work.

  • nice video, thanks.

  • where does this take place

  • @XxxXTarik

It was in Apache Junction, AZ.

  • @supreemwun ok

  • seriously .. How often should a young athlete be doing these drills .. what age should they start .. what is the real goal of doing these drills .. will they work for any sport ?

  • @tennispro888 i do mine every day and i don't think it matters how young they are the younger the better, i find it helps my sense of where my feet are and making faster cuts for any sport where similar motions are used pretty much any sport with running

  • @tennispro888 I have a U10 Girls Soccer team that I train with speed and agility and change of direction constantly. I trained some of them when they were 8 and 9. They have to be able to some what understand what they are getting out of it. Making any kid younger than 7 run or train for speed isn't going to do much for them in my opinion.

  • How long does it take typically for a child new to these drills to excel at them? Say, you only see this child one day/ week, for a 1 1/2 practice.

  • @donname2004

It depends on the athlete. If you have a kid with decent feet already then they will pick it up quicker but as long as they don't quit all kids can improve dramatically. I teach and emphasize technique first, speed will come with time.

  • Wow thats good. I just got a ladder and the dots. Can you post a video on dots?

  • if u are fast and you do this alot. does that = juke?

  • Juke...yes. So its the ability to control your body better than the defender which makes the difference or vice versa. If you can cut before the defender can adjust then you can get by him.

  • k thanks for the info i will add this to my favs

  • good drills n footwork but not so good on technique. There's no arm movement. 2 be faster n have more balance an athlete must have great technique n keep elbows @ 90 degrees n pump their arms with every step. Good Vid Tho

  • hey ive gotta few questions about being a Cornerback....check ur inbox.

  • Dude can you give me some tips for basketball training

  • Guy with the red tank top on, he ain't the fastest but, got the best form and technique.

  • Check your messages.

  • iight thnx

  • just remember to keep your eyes up....

  • lil kid with the red shorts is Nice LOL!

  • Nice video. Very good.

  • I heard jump rope makes your fast twitch muscles more active which helps you running in bursts. someone told me that can you tell me if that would help your overall speed or not or if that statement is just bs.

  • it does help a lot especially if u get the weighted jump ropes

  • Do you know what agility drills or drills of any sort besides technique training will help your 40?

  • just condition your fast twitch muscles they are the ones that make you sprint faster

  • this is a true thing that happens! its not a chain letter! its kinda scary at first but it really works!! paste this message into 3 comments and press ALT F4 and your crushes name will appear on the screen!!! its soo wierd!

  • How many drills would you suggest to introduce to 8 year olds?

  • I trained kids as young as 6 so watch any of the videos I have and train away. As a matter of fact gauge were your kids are and modify as you see fit. I like to switch it up. The videos posted are just some of the things that we do, I search, watch, modify and adapt to what I like and want to see. Good luck!

  • hey can u give me some tips for football training

  • Send me a message with specific questions.

  • man, there mad awesome! I'm gonna become like that.

  • how old are they

  • These guys are future superstars and I plan to use this to motivate my 6-8 year old son. Thats a credit to your program and direction. Very good however, I'm sure it takes alot of practice to get to that level.

  • Thanks for the positive feedback. They all develop at a different pace but my payment is EFFORT. I wish I had this stuff when my son was 6. Good luck with your lil guy! Once he masters one drill switch it up on him. It will keep it fresh and fun.

  • i think the snake jumps r confusing, we do the backwards

  • orange shorts kid is beeeast

  • the little one withe the orange shorts is gonna be real good wen he gets older ..i can tell..

    his footwork is amazing

  • good job on ladder training! i'd like to know the links. your boys are quick! good luck on the season.

  • Send me a message and I will reply with a few really good links.

  • Why are they all 6 years old?

  • They are from age 10 to 15. The two little guys are my sons headcoach's kids (their 7-8). A few of these kids play in a the Arizona Competitive Football League. The league goes by grade, period. So a 4' 10" 95lbs kid can play against a kid 5' 9" 200lbs. They (5th/6th graders - Raiders of ACYFL) made it to the championship but loss by 4 points. They will now move up to 7th/ 8th grade were some of the kids maybe bigger than 6ft and 200+ lbs. So this isn't a league for soft kids.

  • awesome drills

  • The video was shot with a digital camera for convenience, it saves time and hard drive space compared to uploading actual video. The video was NOT sped up. It actually slows some of them down. We do footwork at least once a week so some of them have gotten pretty good at it. I work with the kids and they enjoy seeing themselves. If you want some links to ladder work, agility or speed drills get back to me I got awesome links. Good luck with your training.

  • very hard training but very important!!!

  • dmx who we b day dont no ea ea ea
