@KyaKoshina they can have children if they tie a ribbon on a special tree and pray. if the prayer is accepted you have a fruit and from it hatch your child. there is a tree in every village and one at every palace, there are trees for animals and youmas (o.O) and a tree at the yallow sea at the middle of the world for the kirin. why can't youko have one?

Rakusun in the anime seems to lean towards Youko, and the princess was just there as part of fate. Rakusun was just helping the princess out and giving her a new prespective through a citizen's eyes, and she began to change.

@oppaluv3r In the books Yoko was brought there on Keiki's beast. To be king if Kei.. Ending the reign of the fake king. She got lost and Rakushun found her in the forest and nurtured her back to health and helped her travel to see the king of En to help her.. It wasn't untill the 4th book when she took it in her own hands to pretend to be a citizen.. Rakushun found the King's Daughter in Ryu.. And helped her travel.

i know what you mean but i very much doubt it because the books go further im exactly sure how much further because only two are out right now in america but theres over 8 in japan right now. hopefully theyll make more into anime

They've made all the books into anime. There is nothing more to do, they just have to wait for more novels to be made, which is doubtful unfortunately.

No there are 8 books but only 4 has been in the anime. There is one mor history, but it's shorter.
