I believe it's by Beethoven himself. It's published as one of three cadenzas in a Henle edition.

If we heard from the 1st - 5th we will see an interesting development of Beethoven's music composition. Its like a series where the fifth as the final episodes of the series. Emperor !

@MrChiakiShinichi83 The 2nd was written first, while the first he actually wrote was published as his 2nd, or so I´ve been led to believe.

Maybe someone with a more intimate knowledge of the master can confirm or refute this claim?

Krystian Zimerman is really head and shoulders better than anyone I´ve ever heard. His direction of this piece shows just what a complete musical talent he is.

Olso, the Wiener Philharmoniker are flawless. To see the whole concerto unbroken is a treat. Is there any possibility of you posting Zimerman playing LCB´s 5th piano concerto complete? Thanks.

Love the eyebrows as well, and the one handed, the smiles, the "looks"- a performer all the way. And great hair. Superb orchestra, who seem composed through it all. An incredible talent- what beautiful, timeless marvels we can be.
