what's the lb for the trigger, is it a long trigger pull, I've try the rugger Mark 1 , single break air pistol, but it has a super long pull and i think the trigger pull is heavier 6lb (point is i didn't like it )

@oakland002 It can be dialed in to be very light and have next to no pull as it's all adjustable. It has one of the best trigger you can get!

@SpectrumRMX You don't have to, you can pump it once and get very good target shooting results. If you want more power for hunting then you can cock it the full three times.

What do you think of the Titan NP? It's like a $150 .22 air rifle from Walmart, the box says GP but it has the NP model number and the larger pump in it

@VicariousReality7 Sort of but perhaps improved in some ways: multi-pump for more power, fully adjustable trigger, adjustable grips. The Weihrauch HW 40 kind of has a Walther look while the Alecto has a Desert Eagle look.

@VicariousReality7 Just watch my Chrono Video - proved. Webley Alecto has 3 way adjustable trigger - position - release - tension. I can mount an accessory on the top and bottom of the gun :P

@Turbine2k8 Depends on the grain of the pellet I guess? Should be around 5-6 in restricted stock form.

@Turbine2k8 The release valve has been limit to reduce the pressure so the gun doe snot shoot over 500 FPS. I have not used the HW45 so I can't really comment on the two compared.

@AdminiumWarrior There is an Air Arms S310, is this the same gun, sometimes companies rebrand other guns under their names? I only have the Webley Alecto for reference. It's a really nice pistol though but it is actually made by ATAK Arms - Zoraki for Webley.

Just a suggestion. You could also use metric system for the ammo&guns in conjuction with the system you're using. That would make your vids more inter national as well. Like .22 cal (5.5mm) steel bb for example. Keep up your vids, I somehow like watching them although I don't own an airgun or anything.

@HatesStupidPeople194 Thanks! I would go with a Red Dot for use. They all pretty much work the same way, just different variations. Some can do multiple colors and some have larger viewing areas. Sometimes it just comes down to a certain look you want?

What is the exact advantage of these guns over that of airsoft? I have watched these vids for a long time and I got to wondering. Airsoft can be a little more expensive, but they also don't need gas at all times. (at least some of them). So, what makes this sport better than airsoft?

Airguns and airsoft are two very different things. You can't compare them.

You wouldn't ever play a game shooting each other in the woods with an airgun just as you wouldn't ever try precision shooting with an airsoft.

@MarksmanLeBlanc most airsoft guns are alot weaker than this gun, they are more like "toys", while this is more like an actual weapon for target practicing and such. I mean, you wouldn't really want to be shooting at anyone with a 495fps air gun, because that is powerful enough to penetrate flesh at close range (when an airsoft gun would probably just leave a tiny bruise).

Airsoft is completely diffrent style of sport.. In airsoft you play scenario games shooting other peoples, with these you NEVER EVER shoot another person, not only is it dangerous but it gets you in jail if you go and do that..

Airsoft is something that you play in teams with your friends setting up scenes like securing hostages or so on, but with these its target shooting given that the target can be various things but never a living human :)

@KeminmaanKauhu yeah, but why not just get an airsoft gun? These steel bb shooting guns are accurate in all, but so can airsoft guns be. You can still target shoot with airsoft guns and still perform some moderate pest control.

The small plastic BB:s dont have enough mass behind them to kill small pests or they do but then you are talking about mice and such, also they arent accurate to long ranges unlike these steel bb shooters or pelletguns like this one shown in the video. The accurary lies within the rifled barrel :)

plastic bb guns have what they call hop-up system but it still doesnt deliver good enough spin to be as accurate as these are.

In short plastic bb doesnt deliver enough impact :)
