2. Besides it´d be too risky if they let the napkin lie on the table the whole time before the magician came,´cause the girls at the table(who are obviously not part of the trick) could have noticed something.
And the theory of a magnet in his hand that can vanish and appear is also pretty unlikely. What device could make the magnet vanish and return so extremely quickly? And where would he hide that device, since you can see that there is nothing under his sleeves when he pulls them up at 2:04
your rirght, probably it is preaty difficult to make the magnet appear and then disappear from his left hand. but you can notice that he has a huge watch in his left arm which has probably a magnet inside. A couple of years ago i saw a magician that used a deviced for vanish a coin from an expectator hand, im not really sure but i think taht device was called "raven".
1. Your explanation still seems a bit far-fetched to me.
I doubt that the table was already prepared for the trick, since everyone in the restaurant (even the staff) looks very surprised when he enters, like they didn´t know he would come. So how or when should they prepare the table before?!
I also doubt that the napkin has something to do with the trick since you never see the magician even touch the napkin. And it remains in exactly the same position throughout the hole trick (1:08-2:00).
But how would he place the coin under the table?! He would have to put his hand under the table to fix it there. But that would be VERY conspicuous!
I also can´t imagine him keeping the coin with his left hand at first, since there´s no ring or something that could be magnetized. And if there was some magnet, it would have to be a very strong one to keep the coin under the table. But when he moves his hand to the coin OVER the table at 1:55 it would be instantly pulled by this strong magnet.
the coin is always under the table. Before the trick begins, he removes everything over the table except the napkin. that's because the coin is hidden under it. Probably there is a small piece of metal under the napkin, so that the coin magnetized remains under the table by magnetism,But because the force between the magnet in his left hand and the coin magnetized is stronger than the force with the piece of metal, he can remove the coin magnetized by passing his hand over the napking....
.....when he asks for a coin, he removes the coin magnetized under the napkin by passing his hand over it, .that means that the table was already prepared for the trick.
the magnet under his left hand goes out and returns to its sleeve by a special device. So at the moment the coin magnetized and the other coin are in the same position, he removes the magnet under his hand. And the coin over the table doesn't move because the strongest magnet of all is the coin magnetized.
@chichenitsax hahaha really? and where did you get that from? are you an expert? why dont you make a video showing us how its done and show us the device you use. and your magnets.
i'm not an expert . i juste deduced the trick. i don't make the trick because i don't have that device neither a ring magnetized or a camcorde. if you surf over the net you will find a similar trick and its explanation. search for:
the two coins and the ring are magnetized. the coin under the table is always below the other coin: they stays togethe by magnetism.when the magician removes the coin over the table with the help of the ring magnetized, the coin undere the table drops into his hand. And that's all.
i'm not magician, but it was easy to discover the trick .Use your brain
@chichenitsax Sorry, but I think your explanation is not really plausible:
When he lays the coin on the glas plate, you can clearly see that there´s only ONE coin. Where would the other coin suddenly come from?
He took the coin randomly from a spectator. So how would he get it magnetized or where would he suddenly get a second identical coin from that he can put below the table (and the other coin) and let it drop into his hand?!
you can notice that at the begining he does not remove his left hand from the table, that's beacause he has a magnet under his hand. And the coin magnetized remains under the table by magnetism. So the order from the top to bottom is: hand - magnet -glass table-coin magnetized.you can also notice that at the minut 1:55 he moves his left hand over the coin, this action makes that the coin magnetized under the table remains under the coin over the table by magnetism.
READ FIRST MY SECOND COMMENT: "you can notice........."
the coin of the espectator can be magnetized,if she is her assitent. but if she is not her assitent, it's possible that coins in japan has any ferromagnetic componet, which is common here in Peru or in any other country. the magnet under his hand is removed by any device, and then he can show that he's left hand is empty once he has put together the two coins by magnetism.
The rest of the explanation is on my first comment. REALLY EASY
i bet its plastic with a hole in it not glass and those people are actors they arnt even suprised after the coin went through the table she just smiled?. and the one where its stuck probly a dent or hole as big as the coin so it just fits in the plastic and stays there :D

"Jesus returns " He creats his own reality, all in the world is energy and some people can change the form of energy, thoughs become reality. Its not magic trick, its real changing the materia in form he wishes and back again. energy = materia.
Anyone know why he keeps throwing out English phrases to those Japanese people? He obviously knows Japanese, why not speak all in Japanese to Japanese people? Maybe he thinks it makes him sound cool. lol
Sometimes it's easier to insert English phrases into other languages for some explanations etc. English is a compulsory subject in Japanese schools so most viewers will understand what he's saying.
staged magic is enjoyable when its funny but this just pisses me off, they are taking advantage of people, making people believe that he actually is doing this ..
Unless you're a child, it's highly unlikely anyone deep down thinks it's true. Otherwise, he'd be violating the fundamental laws of physics every time he does a trick. Everyone's aware that they just involve accomplices and sleight of hand.
first coin trick has 2 coins,Initial coin was switched in the beginning and relicas are magnetic; I noticed as the coin looked thick durning the trick and thinned when he finished. noticed towards the end he clenches his 3 fingers and then puts it on his lap without movement to hide the other coin.
The reason why his bottom hand is held tightly to the glass is to stop the magnet from moving. neat and simple trick!
I know this is fake, chris angel showed the trick, the salt thing whatever it is, they look at the coin, meanwhile he drops the salt thing to his another arm, that's under the table. Then he knocks the salt thing from under the table and... you know...
