This is not a true game due to the fact that it wasn't programmed. It was made using the glorified level editor GameMaker. And no, GML isn't a real programming language.

@lemke Drag & Drop isn't programming, and GameMakerLanguage is a markup language. It's like making a level for Unreal Tournament 3, using some Unreal Script, and marketing it as a new game. Now if you're looking for an actual programming language, check out: C++, C, Ruby, Python, Java, etc..

Some really enjoyable games have been made with it, even though I personally dislike the tool. For many games the idea is more important than the technology behind it. Coming up with and executing a good and enjoyable game idea isn't trivial, even in GM.

@TakacsJohn To play the game you need to press esc at the first time you see team stealth bastard. After that you must choose to abort connection. then you can enter whatever username you want and play.You can't upload scores or anything but at least you can play.

Quake is dead, but not quake live. There are quite a lot of active users and servers. All over the world. Games LIKE quake are pretty much dead. As in the REAL arcade shooters not "A military simulator arcade shooter". Playing Quake games need more brain activity than playing COD.
