  • 24C is FREEZING COLD! WHAT ARE YOU ON? Q__Q *is australian and possibly biast* :x

  • wow the heating system in Korea is so different from the UK.. I guess its much warmer if u heat up the floor and eventually the whole room will be warm.. but in the uk, the heater, some call the radiator, is attached to the walls.. so when the heater is on, only the area near to the heater is warm.. not the whole room.. however most of the room floors are covered with carpet, so we don't have to worry about icy floors.. :)

  • People should guess Spudgy's dances O.O We can only make out Shinee's Lucifer, SNSD's Hoot

  • hahaha Spudgy is so adorable!!!!!

  • haha 24C of 75F is NOTHING in Texas. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

  • do you have any other tips on how to stay warm?

  • Is it bad that i was mainly watching Smudge dancing Lucifer in the beginning of the video ? XD

  • Why is it so difficult? I think the situation is totally depending on the boiler. Though I'm Korean, I don't know what are u doing there. Since I'm in Canada, I really miss the floor heater

  • I'm too busy watching spudgy dance lucifer

  • ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ actually it's soooo hot ^____^* im warm now!! :D

  • geez I wish our floors were heated D: it would solve the cold feet problem I tend to have always :F..

  • 나 지금 미국인데 온돌깔가 생각중이다

  • i used to have this kind of heater in my house <3

  • 이 보일러 상당히 구식임...

그냥 버튼만 누르면 20분안에 방이 따뜻해지는데....

    나도 저런 보일러는 처음봄...

  • ahhh i miss those floor heaters in korea!! they're warm, keep your FEET warm, don't dry out your skin, and just so much better than air-blowing heaters in the U.S. in every way :(

  • XD Spugde was dancing to lucifer and hoot XD

  • This is the first EatYourKimchi video I ever saw and it got me watching everything you guys put out.

  • 21.5 degrees Celsius is about 70.7 degrees Fahrenheit.....

How to: 1) multiply Celsius temp by 1.8

    Example: 21.5 x 1.8

    2) add 32 degrees, the temp is now Fahrenheit :)

  • @BooItsMEH that's a lot of math. lol.

    But it is useful :D

  • lol spudgy was tutting to lucifer xD

  • Ondol(heating floor) is really awesome. Cuz heating air is not good for your skin. It makes your skin dry.

  • Hahaha Spudgy and Martina at the end hahaha

  • your dogggg <3

  • I just started watching you two. Um Hilarious!!! I have yet to come across a boring video.

  • oh god... how fricken annoying. I'd probably just be lazy and wear jackets in the house

  • @Isiena Lol... You'd change your mind pretty quickly.

  • is it weird i found it non boring and interesting and i dont live in

    Korea

  • yesterday I was wondering how I discovered Simon and Martina and I just realized it was this video. When I watched this video I never thought I would be living in Korea....now almost a year later I am typing this comment...laying down by a floor heated by Ondol. Thank you guise for all the hard work and amazing videos!

  • This is really helpful. But question what do you do if the lowest your ondol will go is 40 Celsius? Is there any way to lower it? I'm freezing every night because I refuse to turn it on (left it on my by accident for 11hours last week)

  • i'm actually jealous i have to have socks on in my house which is most of the time dangerous ! i would wait a whole day if i could have my floor warm up

  • Spudgy is so adorable!!!

  • 24 Celsius is a little over 75 Fahrenheit

    Or as Martina puts it...

    Roasty Toasty :-) (meow)

  • no wonder koreans like to sleep on the floor! but why cant they just use a heater that blows warm air?

  • @vanderwoodsen90 becaouse they believe that your feet must be warm but your head must stay cold so it can work better. My Korean tacher told us so and I believe her XD

  • @littleheni teacher* sorry :D

  • @vanderwoodsen90 because the air that blows up will just rise, that's why in summer if people have two story houses and turn on their air-conditioning on the ground floor their 2nd floor will be much cooler because the air will rise.

  • i liked it :)))) wasnt boring at all you made it lively :)

  • this sink is ugly , and nobody want to use it~ ;d

  • i wanta spudgy.

  • Poor Spudgy!

  • i saw spudgy dance to lucifer, shut up-ukiss, and hoot-snsd(when it goes "trouble trouble trouble") lol

  • lolz spudgy was doing shut up by ukiss xD

  • i have to watch this video twice~ one time for paying attention to what Martina is saying and one time for watching Spudgy dance.

  • SPUDGY'S DANCING LUCIFER !

  • Our heating system is easy as vax on wack off.

  • omg smugy was onew in hello baby lol

  • lmao at spudgy doing the lucifer :P

  • Aaah heat fan of death! Imagine if someone knocks it over 0_0

  • Seriously....... spudgy looks more like he wants to Go sleepy sleep, not dance! He needs to cuddly Simon! LOL

  • Just noticed that the Spudgy poked his eye with his thoung at the end.xD

  • omg is the dog do the SHINee lucifer dance?? i love you guys... <3

  • that's what my floor is like, I live in Canada. It's just not so common because it's in newer houses.

  • wow it seems so inconvenient. never knew how lucky i am that i can just push a button and a minute later my house is nice and cozy without getting a huge bill.

  • This heather thing is a german product siemens xd we have floor heater here too.

    But it is really expensive.

  • Spudgey doesn't want to dance

  • i watched the vid twice - one for martina and one for spudgy :3

  • The sleeping noises were halarious!

  • 22 degrees Celsius is probably around 71.6 degrees Fahrenheit :)

  • Where in Kr is this? Down in Daegu and Busan I've never had heating system like that....nor have any of my friends....is this a Seoul thing? But it does take a long time to heat the apartment.

  • @dswellhauser well most Korean apartments (like decent ones that families live in after they earn a bit of money) come with boilers or some sort of a floor heating system. only in small apartments or mini-apartments don't come with them. I guess they just have a different mechanism of heating it but in most places you'll find floor heaters.

  • Woah!! If ur sink was leaking with water, wouldnt it make the plug/fuse under the sink to go KABOOM?!

  • my place has a boiler, so it uses gas to heat up the cold water before pumping it in ... gas is extremely expensive in korea so I ended up getting an insane bill ... needless to say, I'm never using floor heating ever again :<

  • @blackinque there are alternate ways than using boilers..

  • IT RUNS ON WATER? I never knew that in my 10 years I lived there! You should invest in an electric ondol Martina!

  • Oh no, the only mistake is that you put 2 interesting videos in the same place. I got sooo distracted *Spudgy* *Martina* *Spudgy* *Martina *Spudgy* *Martina* my eyessss

  • how did you make the spudgey video inside your main video? help :(

  • WOW!!! That's awesome!

  • HOLY SHIT Spudgy dancing to Lucifer... WIN!

  • SPUDGY'S DANCING LUCIFERR! :D

  • damn australia *A* i want floor heating system too~

  • None of your videos are boring, their all interesting :)

especially since I am going to move too South Korea at the end of this year (BY MYSELF D:)

So yeah your guys videos are VERY useful :)

  • ITS LUCIFER!!!AHAHAHA SPUDGY!!!!!!!!!! PUPPY VER. LUCIFERRR

  • pppprrrrrrrrrreow. <3 it sounds so adorable!!

  • A Canadian woman complaining about the heat in the house, what a shocking surprise. If you'd like to simulate having a Canadian girlfriend, ask your non Canadian girlfriend to repeat "Gee it's really cold in the house" twice every hour from September until May. Also most cities in Canada don't have women, so if you don't have a girlfriend to try this test, then you are actually doing it right.

  • this is the rarest heating system you would find in korea, only for studio apartments (usually)

  • i watched this vid TWICE! once for the heating info and another for spudgy!!! lol

  • Dang it! My winter in Korea would have been so much better if I would have known this! Ugh!

  • helpful video thx

  • was Spudgy dancing SHINee's Lucifer? hahahahaha :D

  • *faceplam*

  • LMAO "under the sink~under the sink~"

  • I live in Canada too..and for whatever reason our digital thermostat is in Fahrenheit..

  • How bout you just get some socks which is cheaper

  • i think thats actually way more cooler and smarter haha. the heating through the floor, jesus thats smart! Considering that a lot of our body heat comes from our feet and head

  • heating through the floor would be soo nicee~ my feet is usually the only thing that is super cold

  • my house has infloor heating its amazing.pricier but better

  • The dog is so cute!! :D

  • 21.5 C is around 71 F, btw.

  • 3:37 - 3:51

    I wasn't paying attention to Martina O_o

i was watching Spudgy Dance!!!! <3

  • WOOW! i spudgy dancing Lucifer by SHINee?? It seems like it at 1:02!!!!!

  • @maknaeii LOL! he is!!! lol so cute! how'd u spot that lol

  • @missyBecks LOL Its cause im addicted to SHINee~

  • It wasn't boring! I liked this video a lot! :D

  • What is the breed of your dog?

  • We actually have floor heating in the Netherlands. Mostly in combination with a radiator heater as well. However, it's not such an hassle to turn it on.

On the other side, having it completely off unless you need it saves money.. i guess.

  • the heating 'system' is really hard! whattttt??!!

  • Martina makes the cutest cat noises!!!!!!!! poor spudgy

  • We have that in Germany too

  • the dog poked his eyes with his tongue XD

  • I saw it on Korean historical drama where floor heating was originally invented for the King when he was ill in pain from Osteoporosis when the weather got damp.

  • I love everything you guys post. I live in California and I watched the video on how to use the heaters in Korea lol.

Oh yes, what is Simon's accent? It sounds like he's got a little something in there, but I can't tell.

P.S. You guys are great!! (Viva la Spudgy!!)

  • love your dog <3

  • took my at least 10 seconds to realise spudgy's actually dancing to lucifer. -facepalm-

  • Did this video just make it to 4chan or something? What's with all the perverted comments?

  • oh my god, the dog tries to mind control me.. must resist...

  • o my goodness !

  • I love this country and the floor heater kkkk!!

  • какая отвратительная рода, позвольте сказать

  • Hahaha I was actually looking at the dog the whole time!

  • No entendí el objetivo del video!.
