But your example was off, you do know a piledriver is not real because if it was every wrestler would end up like Stone Cold (broken neck). When they do it in the ring the head never hits the mat, the wrestler applying the piledriver holds the reciever higher up so his head is never past his knees, and the jut drops onto his knees. Better example would of been the top rope superplex.

Fairly sure this was to give him some time off, there was a reason he needed the time off I'm not sure when this match was. But I remember Kane got injured and left for a while for the filming of 'See No Evil' or something, but i'm not sure whether that was this specific time frame or not. =D
