Man, all you people condemning these guys for actually being *happy* about loving God remind me of David's wife in 2Samuel6. She mocked David for dancing and rejoicing before God and aid that he looked undignified. YOu know what he said? 'Sweet - I don't care what YOU think about me - this is between me and God'. If you don't want to go to a church like this, that's cool, but don't pull down others as they praise God just because it's not how you would do it. That's Pharisitical.

I agree with you James. What they are doing is just a show. We can't honor God dancing and singing wordly songs. If we worship God it has to be in spirit and Truth, God is so pure we have to show pure worship to him. I'm sorry to say this but I think we are living in the last days and some churches feel that they want to do whatever they want but thats because they get influenced by the world instead by the world of God. Are we satisfying God? Or are we satysfying the people around the world?

These thousands of kids are in church, not drinking or doing drugs but in church and praising God. There is no 'right' way to praise God just as God made no two people alike. He wants us to be unique and special and praise him as individuals.
yeah i agree with you.. sometimes we forget that we are not always listening to music that has a message for GOD 24/7 and there is nothing wrong with that. For example i know for a fact that every single song we listen to is not about GOD. Sometimes we listen to some ACDC once in a while ect.
It used to be a sin for women to wear make up, long pants or no hat to church just 50 years ago, please don't judge what helps teens relate to God and how people praise him just becuase it is different to how you choose to praise God. I am sure God finds it humorous over the centuries the different standards we apply to what is and is not acceptable. He looks only at our heart and these kids are in God's sanctury, enjoying not drinking and doing drugs.
We are able to laugh and just have fun sometimes in the presence of God (why he gave us a sense of humour) without being expected to be on our knees in silent devotion and worship all the time. The teens relate to this style of music and that is why these style of evangelicl churches are making such an impact in our societies today. Please dont judge but enjoy our new wonderful God seeking generation Y!

Thats another reason to love Guy! Aside from his raw talent, he's a great role model! He's made it in a world that is no doubt full of temptations, and he's stuck to his christian values and morals!! I don't know what they do at the hillsong united youth conference but if this is all they do, then were in trouble. You don't have to go to a Hillsong youth conference to get a dance show. It is nice to have fun but it is more important to focus on leading the youth to a deeper form of worship with God. Getting to a place where it is just you and him;where no one else matters. A place where he freely pours out his spirit on you.
